I don't remember the show much, I enjoyed watching the intro. The only episode I really remeber is when there was a contest to collect prizes in potato chip bags. The rich guy was cheating etc.

Watched it a lot.... A lot!!!!

A strange kind of atmosphere that one had....

Kind of sinister. The fact that cedric's Dad was such a bugger was kind of depressing to me as a kid....

One of my fondest childhood memories.

The end theme was one of the coolest tv songs ever.

Although I remember watching this some afternoons after getting home from kindergarten, my memory of it is made up of brief snippets. There was Ralph, with the crooked nose and red shirt. Some shorter raccoons. The bad guy was pink and had a long cylindrical nose that went outwards, then pointed down. And his sidekicks were three clumsy pigs. Hee hee, I remember the song that would play with the pigs, and with other generally stupid/silly moments.

Da daaa, da daaa, da daaa, na na na na na naaa, da daaa, da da.
Na, na, na, naaa, na naaa, na naaa, na na na na da da.
Tun, tun, tun, tun, tun, tun, tun...

    Come on, sing along!

The CBC has changed its children's broadcasting which has sadly decreased the quality of aired shows. They get their funding from the government which is the cause of the problem I'm assuming. They have to satisfy the government before their audiences. Hence why you have tragic garbage mini-series like "Il Duce Canadese" whose ratings were disgustingly low and some other Canadian shows that have been sub-par.

The only good thing the CBC ever created was Jonovision and Mr. Dressup as far as I'm concerned. But I did enjoy the Raccoons when I was younger. I remember wanting a sweater just like Bert's.
