Thread: Why is it that girls today are such snobs?

    		 I think girls act like total snobs today compared to previous decades. I mean serously, why is it that girls these days have to be total snobs? All they do is dress up like total snobs, act like total b***hes and worst of all beg their parents to buy expensive stuff. Not to mention that the only guys who they'd want to go out with are guys who are as good looking as Brad Pitt, guys who are really muscular, and guys who are rich. Believe me, whenever I ask a girl out I automatically get rejected because I'm too big and fat or I wear stupid clothes. I mean seriously are you kidding me? Big and Fat?! Stupid clothes? I'm hardly fat (I'm just a little bit but not THAT fat) and my clothes are not stupid. Not to mention that there's a prom coming up at my school and absolutly nobody I ask would go with me because they're such stupid snobs. I tell you they get worser and worser as time goes on. Anybody know why they act like total snobs today?

    What do you guys think of the girls of today?

    		 Personally, I think it's two things: Family and Society.

    Think about it. When you, your parents, or grandparents grew up, they had positive role models (you didn't have to hear about their personal lives back then), and for the most part, the music was wholesome.

    Then there's society. Families actually stook together in close-knit communities and raised their children strictly.
    What is popular isn't always right; What is Right isn't always popular.

    		 I agree with you because it happened to me and still does because girls today want to eat of the husbands bucks and they think the rich, muscular, or good looking guys will get them there. so don't feel alone because it also happened to me.

    They have like My Super Sweet Sixteen and all of those shows where the girls are snobs and basically suck the money out of there parents until the point when the girls go made with power. I saw on episode where they hired Kanye West to play for 1000000 DOLLARS!!!! So that adds to the huge ass party and lamborghini! So all together it was like 2000000 dollars!! SNOBS!!

    I agree, that's probably one reason why is because they media encourages girls to be total snobs like in Zoey 101, Bratz, and Mean Girls. They make girls act like snobs in the media as well, instead of more encouraging girls like in Clarissa Explains it All.

    		 Because society in this decade tells them to be this way. Personally, I've never been turned down, but girls today want jocks, money, rap music, and they'll be shallow as hell.

    		 The truth of the matter is, a lot of girls these days tend to be arrogant, rude, manipulative, self-absorbed b**ches. Fortunately, there are plenty of the good ones out there. The only problem is finding the ones who are single.

    		 I'm a girl and I don't act like this. I mean, I don't date guys at all, but I wouldn't turn a girl down because she wasn't perfectly beautiful or rich. Although I do notice looks I think I'd rather have girlfriend who has a good personality versus just good looks.

    		 There have and always will be girls like that. Just like there will always be some guys that won't give chubby girls with glasses the time of day. There are plenty of jerk/snob guys as well. In a world where you have to be muscular as guys and flat abbed and big busted as chics to be accepted LOL it's no surprise.

    There are plenty of good guys and girls, but they DO tend to be hard to find.

    Also I think that alot of girls AND boys in this society are spoiled rotten compared to our parents generation. Always feeling they need to keep up wtih the expensive trends(ipods, jeans, video game systems, etc) and getting pissed at their parents if they can't afford it or if they can and don't hand it over.

    		 I have to garee that girls are becoming a little snoby now a days, I remember being in at the club a couple of times and just their attitudes suck. There was all these girls dancing by themselves i asked one to dance, and she said no I just wanna stay here with my friend, and that she doesnt really like that song.. i also see it on campus that they only talk to guys american eagle and hollister clothes. what bitches
