The Oregon Trail. We all know it as a real-life mode of transportation from the 1800s, and also as the best "educational" game ever made. One of the best things about the game was naming your wagon party members. Just the other day, I named all of my party members after WWE wrestlers, for example. What are some of the most used names in your wagon party?

In later years, STDs were popular names seeing as you can die of dysentery.

You can make up your own names. The kids in my class gave the party gross names like Poo-Poo face.

I usually keep some theme to them. Family members, EarthBound characters, Street Fighter characters... but it's mostly fun when I want the party to die and give them names like Tom Cruise, Jack Thompson, and Chris Crocker.

It usually depended on what tv series or movie was on my mind. Sometimes it would be characters from Cheers, other times Hogan's Heroes, other times I would use wrestling stables like the four horsemen.

I never played that game, but I played Dragon Warrior III, and I named my hero after me, my soldier Hicks (after Hicks from Aliens), my fighter, who was basically an Asian looking Ninja, Phuk Yu, and my wizard Fletch, because I've loved that movie since I was a kid.

I know that has nothing to do with Oregon Trail, but it's about naming video game characters.

You were the leader, and you named the other four people traveling with you.

Honestly, I hate when a game FORCES you to name the characters. It doesn't ruin the game for me it's just nice to have the option to choose pre-made names if I prefer

I named my Secret of Mana party 'HeyYou' 'Stupid' 'Idiot'. It was fun for a while but then I just started using old names from myths and junk.
I don't remember what I used to name my Oregon Trail party, just that I used to like putting 'Who the hell buried me?!' on the tombstone of whoever died last.
