Yea, but Disney had to remove a bunch of shows in the process. And a couple of these were actually good.

You know, I'm trying really hard to remember what shows were airing before Disney's One Saturday Morning started up, aside from the obvious, Bugs Bunny & Tweety show. Let's see, SatAM Sonic, Cro, Cowboys of Moomesa, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh - even though I think that was still airing even when One Saturday Morning started - Goof Troop, and that's about all I can think of. What else came on in the early 90s prior to OSM?

*Gasps* You disliked stuff like Pepper Ann and Recess? I liked Pepper Ann a whole lot... One of the few animated series that actually got a real ending episode.

I liked Disney's House of Mouse. They showed a mix of old Disney toons and newer ones.
I agree, House of Mouse was probably the last show that Mickey Mouse appeared in before Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I hated Mickey Mouse Clubhouse because they dumbed down Mickey Mouse to a point where he's like Dora the Explorer.
That's because Mickey' Mouse Clubhouse is for preschoolers. Disney's House of Mouse really wasn't. That was just for entertainment, Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse is more so "educational" for preschoolers. I've said it once, and I'll say it again...I don't see how an older person or an adult can talk bad about a preschool show or a show where that person isn't anywhere near the target audience.

Well the fact that they made Mickey Mouse into a preschool character is what ticked me off. Making Mickey Mouse into a preschool character kind of ruins Mickey Mouse himself. I mean, imagine if they made a preschool version of Looney Tunes and all the characters have been toned down to a point where it's like Dora the Explorer. Yeah, not a pretty sight. It's one thing for Winnie the Pooh to be a preschool character but Mickey Mouse is just something that shouldn't lowered to a preschool edition.

But Winnie the Pooh didn't start off as a "preschool character" either. Just a nice children's character, and Looney Toons already has sort of a kiddy version too. I personally don't see much of a problem with it. As long as the target audience enjoys it.

Yeah. How it's become so acclaimed by kids and teens today is something I still don't comprehend.

The cartoons of Disney's One Saturday Morning when it premired on ABC in 1995 (they replaced a good block of shows)

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (one of the few early 90s cartoons that was actually bad, it seemed too weird)

Dumb and Dumber (one of the very worst 90s cartoons. Unlike the movie, it was neither appealing or funny)

The Wacky World of Tex Avery (a slew of bad cartoons, which shared around a 7 minute timeslot)

Cow and Chicken (no offense to anyone who likes this show, but I don't get the appeal)

    Most cartoons after 1998-1999

    Various 60s and 70s cartoons

    That's all I can name.

One Saturday Morning started in 1997, not 1995. I do agree that ABC's line up basically went to crap around that time, but then again, I outgrew Saturday Morning cartoons during that time period.

I may be wrong on the date but I know that in 1995 Disney had purchased ABC and removed many of the previous shows that aired beforehand. Simply put, it went to shit from there on out.

    Gonna expand a little more:

Most cartoons after 1997 (previously I said 1998-1999 but even by then I noticed a drop down in quality). It became quite clear that the animation renaissance (the late 80s to mid 90s) was ending.

Cartoons that show poor animation, filled with characters that tell dirty jokes and other stupid things.

Sonic Underground (an insult to AOSTH and SatAm)

A few spinoffs (ex. The Plucky Duck Show and American Dad)

Most of Adult Swim's lineup (except Family Guy, Robot Chicken and Futurama)

Most cartoons of the late 60s and 70s (except Scooby Doo, Wacky Races and Hong Kong Phooey)

A couple obscure cartoons that weren't any good.

Most cartoons in Disney's, CN's, and Nick's current lineup.

"American dad" isn't a spinoff of "Family guy". It's just another show created by Seth MacFarlane.

A few more to add on my list:

Lilo and Stitch the series: Nothing more than a bad ripoff of Pokemon. Some of the experiments looked like Pokemon. And the story lines sucked.

Emperor's New School: Someone please kill this show already. We really didn't need a series. The guy isn't a llama anymore.

Detention: Why do we need a cartoon to rub salt in our wounds? We don't need to be reminded about how bad detention is, plus the teacher is a bitch. The kids were always going to detention for every little thing.

Teacher's Pet: Teacher's Pest. How can anyone not tell he's really a dog? The animation is crummy too.

Clue Club: A bad ripoff of Scooby Doo.

Video may have killed the radio star, but reality crapfests killed the video.

There has been a LOT of shit cartoons in the past and present and (sadly) will be in the future. I can't definitively pick a least favourite or one that I can say is the worst, but here's a few examples of some cartoons that I find to be bad/horribly overrated:

Family Guy (the most overrated cartoon ever)
American Dad (just a copy of the above)
    Jimmy Neutron (just shit!)
    Arthur (inoffensive turd)
    Babar (pointless)
    The Spiral Zone ( )
Pokémon (I used to like it, but I grew up! )
Teddy Ruxpin (again, more inoffensive turd)
Kissyfur (that was just the pits! LOFL!!!)
Captain Planet And The Planeteers (makes me want to NOT be eco-friendly!)

And anything that came from Australia - cartoon or not. There's a load of others but I just cant think of!

Babar was a series based on a VERY famous series of children's books that date back some thirty plus years!

    Learn the classics man!

I hate the fuckin' Gobots. It's like GAY and ROBOTS decided to have a child together. I don't know if that still makes them "gay", per se, but, you get what I'm saying, right? Fuck!

Inoffensive Turd is going to be my new catchphrase! I just think it would be utterly cool to be a turd and yet completely inoffensive. In fact I'd be a downright lovable turd!

That's a Transformers knockoff right there. My brother was a die hard TF fan and I can remember him calling the Gobots "The Gaybots" and "K-Mart Transformers". I haven't really watched the show for myself but it doesn't look like I'm missing much.
