    Bass guitar for 8 years

I also have a Fischer Price keyboard I got at Value Village for four dollars I play around with. It only has one tone but it's a good one, it sounds like a Fender Rhodes and it has a low grade sequencer in it, (After you record a series of notes, the playback doesn't give you the whole sequence, it gives one note from it every time you hit the playback button, and you can control the speed by how fast or slow you tap the playback button. I can play the seqeuncer parts from the Who's Baba O'Riley and Pink Floyd's On the Run using that feature.)

I played the piano, flute, guitar and most recently the hammered dulcimer. The problem with me is..if I was good at it I wold love to play .but I hate to be bad, I hate to practice, and this is why I quit..

I played piano for a few years as a kid, wasn't very good. I started playing bass guitar at 14, and 6 string at 15.

I played clarinet all through public school, junior high and high school.

I'd like to get into playing guitar soon. I had a couple of lessons back in '95 and can play a couple of licks by ear but I'd like to get more serious about it.

Go for it Funky Guy. With the internet today there are TABS everywhere. You don't even have to know how to read music. You can learn pretty easily over the internet, and starter guitars are pretty cheap. I'm not saying you'll be Jimmy Page, but you can have a lot of fun.
