I know most of you that were born in the 80s and 90s still remember the Bumpers that used to play before and after every show on Nickelodeon, but what I want to know is which one was your favorite and which one scared the crap out of you when you were a kid...

I'll start things off by saying, the one with the ants was definitely my favorite one next to the singing Rooster.

But the one that scared the crap out of me was pinchface *shudders* I still see that thing in my nightmares..especially since someone added that Bumper here and I took a look at it just 3 weeks ago after not seeing it for what feels like 10 years now. x.x

Anyway, just say which one was your fave and which one, well, you know...

Favorite one was when they had those five, animals?, walking down the street with an orange shirt and part of Nickelodeon on their shirt and then they all line up right inside a yellow TV. But really, and Nick Bumper from the 80s is awesome!

To this day, everytime someone says "Arf!" I reflexively say (in a low voice) "Nickelodeon."

I liked the Doo-Wop-A-Saurs. Or however you spell it.

That one with the eyes and teeth on strings singing in that freaky voice is probably my least favorite bumper ever. They ran it all the time, too.

I didn't really have Nickelodeon around the time they had all the cool bumpers but one of the first ones I saw that I liked was Inside Out Boy, which was on the Rugrats tapes. I also like the Nick blob, Face, and the guys in the yellow suits.

Which one creeps me out? Maybe one of these do:

I was scared of the monster with the toothbrush and the accordion guy (not posted here yet) the most. The caterpillar one scared me a bit too at the end.
Surprisingly, pinchface didn't really scare me as much as the first 2 I listed.
If I get access to my old VHS tapes I might upload a few classic bumpers.
    Some of my favorites include:

The one where the monkey pops himself
The one where a submarine thing gets eaten by a tube of toothpaste
    The jackhammer dude
    Windshield
    The 5-or-such "felt" bumpers
The one where the sleeping mouse eats the entire room

I love the Nickelodeon bumpers used from 1986-1994. They're all awesome.

If you could upload these, mvangord, that'd be great.

Does anyobdy else have any bumpers on tape that aren't on the Internet? I think I have the jackhammer and windshield and know I have a few Halloween 1994 bumpers. I also have a few of the christmas ones, such as one with Santa and one with Rudolph that's on Youtube. I lack video capture software, unfortunately.

My favorite Nickelodeon bumper was the one with the girl throwing a dog an orange bone (though the song was annoying!)
I cannot say any of the bumpers scared me, but one of my least favorites would have to be the one with the oprea singer.

I always like the one with the "nick blob dude" walking and slipping on a banana peal and slipping and splatting, I remember that the character sounded like Doug.

My favorite was the one with the teeth and the glasses singing (the voice is Tom Kenny), the turtle touching the cactus and saying "Nick", and SpongeBob blowing the Nick bubble by shooting it through his holes.

    No bumpers scared me.
Yeah, it's Yuuki. Got a problem with that?

That freaky voice was none other than SpongeBob, Dog, Heffer Wolfe, and Gib Hootsen - Tom Kenny.

Wait, Gib Hootsen (the animated equivalent of Walker, Texas Ranger) was Tom Kenny? Last time I checked, he was voiced by Doug Lawrence...

    the cool ones:
Arf Nickelodeon, Calling cades ( the animals walking down the road.) Tommy and spike watch tv and they turn to nick and this cool music plays. the closh ( silver dome) (the one with the gibberish Eskimo, rhino and opera singer) the cowboy and horse.

Creepy ones: Abe Lincoln barber shop singers, disenfaced (why was he called pinchface!?) eyeballs and mouth with knuckle puppets, that's all I can think of at the moment.
