Does anyone in here think that myspace will eventually blow over?

    hell no

    And I'm glad.

It's over rated as all heck. And there's no redeeming it either.

As a denizen of this Interweb thing since 91, I've seen websites rise and fall and disappear completely. I belong to myspace in name only. I deleted everything from my profile and got rid of all of my friends except people I know.

Seriously, with the buying of Myspace and now Facebook, people will be looking for someplace new and not a sell out. Now is the time to start something up to be the next big thing. You just need to register a goofy but rememberable name, get server space and use ads to pay for the revenue.

    The evolution will be televised.

Myspace is overrated. I'm never, ever getting a freaking Myspace page. It's not my thing, sorry.

    Agreed, 110%.

yes, the only place on the internet where poorly designed webpages on a massive scale are tolerated, what could be more better ?

LOL some people are too much into myspace. Like how they get mad if you don't put them on your top 8 list or if you don't leave them a comment every so often. The only reason why I got it was because I wanted to stay in contact with people from Jersey when I moved away to college. Now that I'm back in Jersey I use it to stay in contact with people I went to college with. This is my second myspace page though. I had to delete my first one because my psycho ex was using it to find out information on me.

I used to be dead against myspace but i decided to make one to see what the hopla was about,

I like it because it got me in contact with friends from school i havn't seen in years. also it keeps me in contact with my wrestling buddies which is VERY important. It allows me to leave bulletins or events so when I got something important coming up. I mean it isn't anything fantastic and I don't like all those quizes like what color smartie are you. But in all it's a pretty interesting idea and because it's gotten so big celebrities now have them and I have gotten in contact with some people I truly admire.

Ok I have offical made up my mind I contacted tom about to report a hacker incident and heres the plan here. If I can't resotre my page and don't get a reply from tom by november 1st than my site is getting taken down and won't be getting another one because building my site took a lot of work to put into.

I'm sorry to say this to you and other myspace haters but MS isn't gonna blow over for a while. First of all unlike in 2003 MS isn't just owned by Tom anymore it's owned by a big company which makes 1 million dollars day by day. I'd say the minimum in terms of myspace blowing over would be 2020. It's much more popular than other sites popular before MS was like friendster, livejournal and xanga in fact these sites weren't even that popular to begin with in fact I didn't know about xanga until someone linked it in there profile a year ago, didn't know about friendster until a friend from my school told me on AIM that friendster was a kinda popular site before the MS era and livejorunal someone asked anyone if they had it and they said no. MS is even more over-rated than AIM ever was in fact those that had a computer most likely had AIM although i've owned a computer since 1996 but didn't get AIM until spring 2004 and some people that have a computer don't have AIM but do use myspace. Those that don't have a computer at there house but do go on it at there grandmas house or so most likely don't have an aim but some of these kinda people do have MS's you know.

For those who didn't get into myspace it is suggested not to because it sucks you into it. Like me before I had a myspace I maily played video games and played outside during the day and went on AIM/NG/TT/TZ during the late evening going into late night type of hours but than when I got a myspace I started spending massive amounts of time on the internet and I do wanna have a life other than the internet unlike some people.
