I wouldn't say that the person is weak, it's just that, for some, it's easy to kick the habit, and others, it's not. I don't feel it's fair either to say that a person is weak, especially if the person tried.

    The voice of reason.

    I stand corrected.

OK, *I* found it a piece of piss to quit.

    Yes, that's better.

Im not trying to preach, but im just curious. How can you enjoy cigarettes so much when you know that each one you smoke just makes your lungs blacker and blacker and fulll of tar, and your clothes and hair smell horrible, and how nobody likes to kiss a smoker lol. And how many peoples parents, and just people in general have died from smoking. Why doesn't that make you want to quit? and if you ever become pregnant, do you plan to smoke WHILE Pregnant?

My mom smoked, drank LiquidPlumr and did crank while she was pregnant with me, and I turned out fine! Considering a career in politics, currently.

I've never had an urge for smoking to be honest. Not my thing.

I am a smoker and I can tell you that smoking is NOT awesome. Have you ever known someone to die from smoking?? I think if you have known someone, smoking wouldn't feel so awesome anymore. Unfortunately for us smokers, smoking is a drug. Nicotine is VERY VERY addicting. And I am guessing that most people who are long time smokers know, that if you try to quit it is not that easy at all. No drug is awesome especially smoking because it is legal.

    OK, first off;

    1) I have been to 4 funerals of family and one friend of people who dies through smoking.

    2) Quitting is as easy as falling off a log. I have gone through long perios (sometimes years at a time) without smoking.

If you can't quit, you're weak. That's all.

Get a grip and stop being pathetic. Just stop. Easy. No patches, no gum, nothing. Just stop.

I'm having a little trouble grasping the absurdity of your post. Just stop!? I'm sure the many people who smoke and wish to stop wish it were that simple. And calling someone weak because they can't stop is equally ridiculous. Nicotine is a highly addictive chemical, it has nothing to do with being 'weak'.

I disagree. I don't think everyone who smokes is weak, but someone claiming they want to stop but can't is a sign of weakness. I mean, do you think that someone who quits has to use willpower? Does someone need strength to quit?
Well, if a smoker needs strength and willpower to quit then someone who doesn't quit (if they are trying to quit) is definitely someone lacking in willpower and strength.

    Make sense to me.

I didn't use gum or patches.

    You're smoking them wrong.

The arse pains will stop. Trust me.

I'll sign, but one question: who lets crippled orphans have a vehicle, let alone tires that need letting down?

    I smoked a cigarette on March 21, 2008.
I think I made a bad decision. What can I do?
