My father's the whiniest man that I have ever come across. Sometimes he pulls the whole I'm going to get a divorce card not because he hates my mother but because he hates me and wants to get away from me. He doesn't know how to do anything for himself and he is a Mama's boy. He's overbearing and strict almost all the time.

My mother is very nice, but too religious. Her mother is a nun which about sums up how religious she is. She does just about everything, but she's overbearing and strict like my father at certain times.

Whoa, I though my parents were bad whenever I lived with them. I had to move all the way across the nation. Now I miss the little things I used to dislike.

My father is dead and hopefully rotting somewhere in a non-religious equivalent of the christian hell. My mother is still alive but she was my father's asswipe for so many years she lost her personality and I couldn't really tell much about her since she's not being herself anymore.

My dad like anti-christ of Bill Cosby (but we still love him and his crassness) and my mom is very level-headed and would die for her children.

Yeah, my parents are terrible. I can't wait to be old enough to get out of here and move across the country.

My mom is incredibly easy going; she is like my best friend. She had me when she was eighteen, so it might be due to closeness in age, but I think any parent can be just as fun. We do butt heads a lot, though, it's expected. She can be strict with chores and such. When she has to be strict, she is strict.
My step-pops is somewhat of the same way, except more stricter. More harsh with jokes as well.

my father is a musician and has made a living playing music. even when the band makes no money he sticks with it because he would rather be poor and kick it with the musiciand than work a regular job, even though he is a certified brick layer and is always building something. he is very interested in aliens and science, the best gift i ever gave him for fathers day is a subscription to national geographic. he always takes issues to work to try and educate the other guys.

my mother has a huge family and she is always at war with them all over accomplishments. she is the next to oldest and therefor was like a surrogate mother to her younger siblings so she is always critising their life choices , specially when one of my uncles became a jehovas withness. my mother is a staunch catholic and being from the country, she is always critising, for example my brothers wife still uses her maiden name so my mother is pissed off at that , also my niece does not have a saints name so that got her pissed off too

My mom has OCD and gets worried about anything. I was completely over protected as a child. I used to getreally mad about it, but that was before she told me there was something wrong with her.

My dad works at an alluminum smelter. He's an easy going guy, and he likes to watch cartoons! Only bad thing was he sided with my mom on everything just to avoid conflict, and one was never to get him started talking about "nam".

well i only posted about my mom, but i forgot about father. My dad is considered a genuis and he used to be in that MENSA orginization, where its like a bunch of smart ppl doing smart stuff....he quit though, he said they were just a bunch of money suckers. He's a strict but fair, and can be one of the coolest dads sometimes. He puts up with a lot of crap from me and my brother, but he's cool. He's a big time penny pincher though, and hates splurging on occasion. SOmetimes though, he'll take us to jillian's (arcade) and we just go crazy. its funny really...he has like split personalities. My mom, besides being a hippy, is also cool. she's smart, and funny as hell. She doesnt take shit from anyone, and can charm anyone too. She loves to read, and travel as well. I love my parents all together, even though they have their nazi moments as well.

Both of my parents are accountants... Yeah... How they ended up with a daughter who's an artist and failed math all through school, I will never know.

My Mother is a happy-go-lucky person most of the time (in a "Kitty" from That 70s Show kinda way) who seems to freak out about certain things in an OCD way... Actually, that sounds exactly like Kitty, doesn't it? She also has a bit of Marge Simpson in her because sometimes I can't believe the corny things she says. But yeah, she's a Libra and always thinks she's right no matter what. No one is allowed to do anything their own way. Drives my Dad and I nuts.

My Dad is very quiet and easy-going, but he's a Gemini so he randomly has PMS and fits of rage. Gemini's are usually outgoing vs. quiet, not quiet vs. angry, so I'm not sure why he's like that... But we get along well. We can just sit and watch TV and not say anything and have a bonding moment. Plus, he always protected me from my mother. And he's very sarcastic- makes a lot of quiet side jokes. I still call him "Daddy," and I realized that no one else knows this when I rerfered to him as "Daddy" talking with my mother while on the phone with my BF last week. Felt I had to explain to him that I still call him "Daddy." LOL

I never had a close relationship with my parents. They didn't tell me anything, I didn't tell them anything, and that's the way I wanted/want it. But it's much easier talking to them/being around them now that I'm grown. Maybe because I don't live with them often?

My parents are funny and cool.

The only flaw with my dad is when he gets a few glasses of whiskey in him, he just starts saying random stuff. But, what do you expect from an Irish person?
