What's your favorite Halloween song or video?

The best one out there for me would be Thriller by Michael Jackson.

For some reason this song reminds of the old Steve Miller Band song 'Abracadabra' music video.

Besides the Classics like 'Monster Mash' and 'Trick or Treat,' I used to remember the ghoul school haunted classic known as 'The Ghost of John,' then later Elvira's 'Haunted House,' and 'Monsta Rap.'

There's a CD called 'Halloween Howls,' which has one song by David Cassidy called 'Halloween Party.'

But those are a few I can recall.

"Monster Mash" is so overplayed..."Ghost of John" is indeed a classic. How about "The Hearse Song" to add to the list of old-school classics? (To this day I still will stop laughing if I see one go by just to be sure the worms won't crawl in and crawl out or play pinnochole on my snout...)

Seriously though, look at my first post in this thread. "Pimpf" along with "Sibeling" and "Memphisto" are perfect for Halloween. They were B-Sides to more well-known Depeche Mode singles ("Pimpf" was on "Strangelove", the other two on "Enjoy the Silence"). "Pimpf" is my top choice for Halloween though because of the chanting in there...go buy it on iTunes and get the other two while you're there; blare them on your car stereo when you're out on the 31st. It's the best $2.97 you can spend on Halloween stuff! (And get the two aforementioned singles while you're there...they are freaking sweet)

I agree that "Ghost of John" is an old-school classic. We sang that in elementary music in the late seventies and early eighties. "Long white bones, with the skin all go-o-o-one" Great stuff!

Another that I loved from the same era is "The Headbone" (connected to the neckbone, etc.) Come to think of it, I'm sure that's probably much older a song than I'm giving it credit for.

    Everyone have a great halloween!

"The Ghost of John" is a great compliment to the Ray Bradbury story "The October Game"...probably the creepiest Bradbury of them all...
