Sadly, all of the Halloween specials I grew up with no longer air. Except for "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" which is the die hard of the bunch.

I usually play old tapes and I have some 80'S specials on DVD to help me relive the memories each season. I don't like the shows on CN but I like the fact that they at least do something Halloweenish--and that's better than nothing. I just keep checking the TV listings for something cool.

I'll watch whatever specials and movies are on TV; as well as Gargoyles' "Eye of the Beholder", the scariest Spawn TAS episode I know, the new TMNT's "All Hallow's Thieves" episode, and if there's a Batman TAS Halloween episode--all on DVD.

I love the Home Movies Halloween episode. My favorite classic ones are the Beavis & Butt-head and Garfield ones. I liked the Peanuts one as kid, I don't know what I'd think of it now.

The ones I can think of right off are: Roseanne, Cheers, Family Matters, Step By Step, Home Improvement, Fat Albert, Full House, Garfield, Peanuts, DuckTales, Cosby Show, That 70s Show, Simpsons, Rugrats. I wish I could watch them all again or clips of them at least.

One of the best spacials ever would be The Halloween That Almost Wasn't. It is also known as The Night Dracula Saved the World.

If you haven't seen it, you should. You'll be happier that you did.

    -Disney's Halloween Treat is awesome.
-The Garfield one with Pirate Ghosts is double awesome.
-Disney's Legend of Sleepy Hollow is so awesome, it'll kick your dad in the nuts if you don't watch it.

Can't beat the ending of Beavis & Butt-Head's halloween special. It was really unexpected twist.

Though I still for the life of me can't figure out what was supposed to have happend to Butt-Head though. Was he brainwashed or killed or zombified or what!?!?!
