Who here had a ton of Lisa Frank school supplies, stationary, stickers, diaries, you name it (Come on, boys, you can admit you owned the kitten and puppy pencils and sharpeners, too!).

I loved that neon pastel artwork, even though I was never the ultra-girly type. The only thing I don't like about the current art is the Bratz look given to the human girl characters. I still come across the older stuff when I go into thrift shops and dollar stores.

I've noticed a lot of furry-themed art online has a Lisa Frank influence. Most notable being Bara-chan.

They still sell it. It's just not as plentiful. I got a few folders with Casey (the yellow dog) on them. I've been using Lisa Frank supplies since the 1st grade in 1990.

I remember I had a pink Lisa Frank lunch box with a Koala bear on it. I loved that thing but I think it got given away.

I use to have Lisa Frank stuff. My favorite Lisa Frank character was the orca called Max Splash.

I was never into it the way some kids in my class were, but I think I had a few school folders and stuff.

I wish Lisa Frank would make a clothing line. I would wear the hell out of a Lisa Frank pink unicorn riding on a shiny dolphin, squirting red kool-aid out of it's blow hole. yeah....

I never really owned any of that stuff, but sometimes girls in my class would put those stickers on my folders when I wasn't looking

I know it definitely didn't say Lisa Frank on it, but I had a trapper keeper that looked suspiciously Lisa Frank-ish. It had a red Ferrari next to a swimming pool with an assload of palm trees and other radical stuff. Everything was all neon, bright colors. Totally 80's. I wish I still had that rad pile of crap.

I'm wondering if she freelanced for Mead on some of those Trapper Keeper designs in the 80s.

I had some. I loved the notebooks with pink paper because it was so girly. I handed in an assignment once on that paper, and the teacher said "Next time, use white paper." I was embarrassed. But I haven't seen Lisa Frank products in a while. I know they still in production.

Here are some new style Lisa Frank folders I bought within the past 2 years.

The glitter ones scanned a little funny. The one with the real puppy is really different.

Lisa Frank's stuff is downright beautiful. I have a folder I just had to buy with 3 bunny ballerinas in my room right now. It would be cool if Lisa produced art cds with all her images collected in galleries.
