"wait till your father-" was not the short removed.

It was in the episode with night of pets and a spoof of casper.

The replaced cartoon never aired on tv!

The Ren and Stimpy christmas episode was banned by Nickelodeon for some reason. I can't remember what the name of the episode was or why it was banned?

YTV took TMNT 87 right off the air because of it's violent content and complaints from Parent's and Teacher's groups.

YTV also took MMPR off the air for the same reason as they took TMNT 87.

I remember an episode by chuck avery or some old cartoon drawer he made a cartoon about the new device the army was using and a person who just came back from the army kept trying to show and tell everyone about it was banned every where expet the united states because it was one of there actual secret weapons.
i read the never ending story and guess what?

            It ended.

I know that this isn't retro but another thing I heard that was banned in the US was the Hi hi Puffy AmiYumi episode, Surf's Up (originally titled Tsunami Yumi) which aired on New Years Eve 2004, but it was banned because of the Tsunami that happened in Asia a few days before the episode was scheduled to air so they replaced it with a different episode titled "Save the Farm" which premired a few weeks earlier. Now that this show is off the air that episode will probably never see the light of it's day in the US. Oh well, I didn't really care for that show anyway but I thought I'd post that.

Anyway as for the Pokemon episode "The Tower of Terror", Cartoon Network brought it back on the air recently, because it wasn't aired on Cartoon Network when they were originally playing the old Pokemon episodes (from 2002-2004) so basically when cartoon network aired that episode last Thursday, it was their first time airing it.

There were two banned episodes of the new TMNT. The first because of the episode's lead character's body falling apart and the second because it touched on the issue of conjoined twins.

I know this ain't a kids show, but it did catch on with kids below the age of 10so I'll mention it anyway....

...Beavis & Butt-Head. They had a shitload of episodes from the early seasons that got banned or permanently altered for some reason or another.

"Stweart's house" - Banned because Beavis & Butt-Head sniff stove gas.

"Way down Mexico way" - Origanly a two part episode, it was turned into a single episode after a drug smuggling sub-plot was removed.

"Comedians" - The scene with Beavis setting the news papers on fire was removed. This was the episode that was blamed for that little kid who burned his home, killing his younger sister.

"Ball breaking" - I don't know if it was banned or altered but it had some controversy after someone did exactly what Beavis & Butt-Head did in the episode....dropped a bowling ball from an overpass...except 1. It didn't contain fire crackers & 2. It hit some girl on the head and killed her.

"Balloon" - I think this one got banned because Beavis & Butt-Head try to make baby dolphins choke to death on helium balloons.

"Home improvement" - Altered by removing a scene in which Beavis & Butt-Head get high by sniffing paint thinner.

"Lawn & garden" - Altered to remove the scene where Beavis kills a grasshopper & cuts Butt-Head's finger off with a chainsaw.

"Bungholio: lord of the harvest" - This episode was never actually edited due to complaints or anything but in 2004 MTV showed the episode & cut out the entire ending to the episode & put up a message saying that "MTV regrets to inform you that the show you are watching (Beavis & Butt-Head) has been edited to ensure that veiwers are not subjected to the unplesentness that was about to occour".
COME ON! All that happens is, Beavis is hanging on a hook in a barn & then a crazy old zombie like farmer enters with a now ghostly Butt-Head & Beavis' death is implied after Butt-Head & the farmer both pull out chainsaws & blood can be seen splatting on the screen accompanied by Beavis screaming, the farmer laughing maniacly & Butt-Head doing his normal "Huh huh" laugh.

"No laughing" - Altered to remove Mr. Buzzcut shouting the words "Scrotom" & "Clitoris".

"Peace, love & understanding" - This episode should have been done by Ren & Stimpy instead of Beavis & Butt-Head . The plot was just too damn crazy. IT's rare that the ever show this one but the begining of the episode shows Beavis & Butt-Head sitting on the couch & sniffing glue.

That's all I can remember but I'm sure that there is a lot more than what i've listed.

There was an episode of Rocko's Modern Life entitled "The Good, The Bad and the Wallaby." It involved Rocko and Heffer going to a farm. While the episode wasn't taken out of rotation, a certain scene was edited out. In this scene Heffer gets hooked up to a milking machine. When the machine is turned on, Heffer's facial expression suggests sexual arousal. He later develops a love affair with the machine. I saw it on Youtube not long ago, but I doubt it's still up there.

Another banned episode of Pokemon is "The Tower of Terror" which is the episode where they go inside a haunted house and Ash catches a Haunter which he uses to beat Sabrina of Saffron City. It was banned after the 9/11 attacks because of the title to the episode, "The Tower of Terror". That was the only reason why they banned that episode. I mean it's like what? They couldn't change the title. They changed the title in the first season 2 episode "A Scare in the Air" which was renamed "Spirits of the Sky".

Tower of terror still airs it was on CN(yes it is not cartoon network anymore)

on Rocko's Modern Life, in an episode, Rocko was picking berries and then grabbed what looked like to be one but made a honk noise and a bear ran out grabbing his crotch. i am glad I got to see it before it was edited out

Episode 12 of Ultraseven is banned in Japan, in fact, they treat it as if it never happened. It never aired on TV. And it's kind of a dumb reason why it's banned. Anyway, when Ultraseven aired on TV in the USA ALL the episodes were shown, I recorded them. When I was living in Japan I fianly asked somone why that episode was banned and hey explained it to me. I mentioned how it wasn't banned over here and That I had a copy of it. Needdless to say all my friends then wanted to see it, so I took it over to one of their appartments, apprently word got out, they were all there, their fathers where all theri, eve one guys grandfather. Of coarse, they'd waited nearly 40 years to see this.

That being siad, there's a few Bugs bunnyc artoons that have been banned, 3 I beleive. One is the Opera episode, thats just dumb. Show the cartooon.

                          Why was that episode banned?
