Does anybody remember this? I'd say around the mid 80's. All I remember is something like a hallway and images of Freddy, Jason etc. projected on the walls or in mirrors or something. I'd love if somebody had the intro to view.

Personally, I'd rather have the intro from Kung Fu Theater that USA used to show.... *sigh* I loved that feature... And IIRC, the show you're thinking about is called "Up All Night"... Not too bad of a show, all things considered....

Thanks, but that's not what I was looking for. I remember watching Rhonda and Gilbert...weird movies. I did a little more research and found it on Imdb. It's "Saturday Nightmares."

*smacks head* Oh yeah... that's right. I knew there was a horror movie show, but I got it confused with Up All Night.

You can't really talk about any shows on USA besides Commander USA's Groovy Movies and Night Flight.

The rest....well, they were filler...for when Commander USA and Night Flight weren't on

I bemoan the day that Rhonda Shear's "Up All Night" came on the air...with her and Gilbert Godfreid.......a sad day indeed

I think I posted this awhile ago but got no replies but does anyone remember the horror shorts usa used to show in between commercials? one had a man building something and at the end you find out its a giant mousetrap and he kills himself with it. another short involved a ventriloquist dummy. I wonder if these were shown during commercial breaks for this saturday nightmares show.

I remember watching something late nights on USA that showed scary movies. I remember it being hosted by some country type of dude. Thinking back, he reminds me of Adam Corolla. I remember watching that show was my way of getting my scary movie fix every week.

That was Billy Bob. I think it was called Billy Bob's Trailer Park Movie or something.

Joe Bob Briggs was is name and he hosted Monstervision on TNT not on USA even though it came on around the same time USA up All night came on. Monstervision was more focus on showing scary movies and USA Up All Night would showed one good movie and then a B- rated movie or a cheesy movie that you never heard of for the second movie that came on around 1am on Fri and Sat nights.

Yeah I remember Saturday Nightmares on USA my grandma and I would watch it every Saturday night. Sometimes they would show good movies on it and then sometimes you would say what the heck is this. It came on in the late 80's around the time when Commander USA Groovie Movies was going off the air and when Flight Night was being replaced by USA Up All Night. USA was great for showing movies in the 80's and 90's all day on Sat and Sun, they also had Kung Fu cinema all Day Sun. Man USA was great for people who loved movies in the 80's and 90's. I saw on wikipedia the reason they stopped showing all these great shows was because they wanted to get a better audience. Now don't get me wrong those of you who like USA today but today's USA can not touch the USA of the 80's and 90's.

Razzu said:I loved "up all night"......What happend to USA network.

You Razzu that's a question that I have asked for the past 9yrs but I have the answer finally from USA. Here it is in 98 the top heads of USA had a meeting about there programming and how to upgrade to get more views and ratings. During this meeting they decided what shows had to go and yep you guessed it one of the shows was USA Up All Night. They said the reason why is because they wanted to bring in better programming to their viewers. This amazes me because at 11pm how much better progamming can you get. I know I can speak for myself I loved USA Up All Night so much in the 90's it was second only to Snick in my viewing choices. I think it was just USA's way of firing Gilbert and Rhoda because they were cool to watch on the weekends. I myself could of had a long week but I knew when Fridays came I had to nights of movies on USA even if the movies were cheesy sometimes I didn't care it was 1 in the morning I was half way sleep anyway I was just happy to be watching Up All night. Now USA shows all the Law & Orders, House come on if I want to watch that I watch NBC and Fox. I say bring it back and people will watch it because it would cool to see something on tv at Friday and Saturday nights again.

Here 's the comment from wikipedia -In 1998, USA decided to rebrand themselves, which meant cancelling or retooling many of their programs. Up All Night was part of that process. They decided to relieve Shear and Gottfried of their hosting duties and present mainstream films that appealed to more viewers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USA_Up_All_Night

I can't remember the last time I actually watched that network, but I do miss that show. Nothing is better than a bunch of cheesy horror movies during the late night hours.
