When you were a kid what did you think you were going to be (or what did you want to be) when you grew up? And then what did you end up becoming or what are in the process of becoming (or doing)? And then finally, are you happy with the way it turned out?
I hoped to be a cartoonist for Disney or Nickelodeon.
I ended up starting my own on-site computer service business.
Overall I like where I ended up but some days I wish I had gone the more creative rout like I thought I would.

I thought that I was going to be in the entertainment industry, but instead, I write about it (reviews, interviews, things like that).

I wanted to be a doctor. Well, a veterinarian. But then I found out that blood makes me very squeamish. Plus there's like, a million years of school involved. Besides, I found out in middle school that I had a thing for art. Now I want to be a graphic designer.

Well when I went to school when I was younger I was really in to the Young strength club. Heck I even one year got young astronauts cabbage patch kid that came in a box that looks like a space shuttle. The first year of the program when I was in school we did a play where I was mission control at mall in Charleston SC.

When I was in kindergarden...since I was the class of 2000, we had this sheet that asked us a bunch of random questions and we had to fill them out. Then they put it in a timecapsule and buried it. Then at 2000 they dug it up and one of the questions was What do you want to be when you grow up......hahah..and I said a Professional Bowler. Hahah...I was way off!!!......although I did bowl a 300 game once.

Astronaut - that is until the Challenger explosion.

But I also wanted to be an inventor/designer.

Still like to play around with making stuff but mostly as a hobby only.

Lorax, you shouldn't feel being a teacher is boring. Especially if you're in school to become a teacher!! I have been a preschool teacher for 3 years, and there is nothing boring about it!!!! What grade do you want to teach?

First I wanted to be an AVON lady. Then a dancer in Cats. Then a zookeeper. Then a vet. Then an elementary school teacher. Then a social worker. Then a highschool art teacher. Now I'm working on becoming a professor of early 20th century/postmodern art.
I am deranged, but so, so playful!

I when I was a kid I wanted to be a cartoonist or a video game developer.

I'm in the process of becomeing a Computer Engineer. Am I happy? I don't know. I'm just riding the train and seeing where it takes me. I'm also thinking about getting into voice acting for cartoons - that would be cool.

Rock star, later a cartoonist (like Jim Davis), later still a writer (like Stephen King). I'd still like to be a writer one of these days, when I have the time.

I thought I was going to be a singer, but out of the blue my extorverted persona changed to introvert. Now I am deathly afraid of performing on stage or even to myself because I'm afraid someone will hear me.
I also wanted to be a veternarian too, but I heard it involve's more difficult schooling then being a medical doctor.

When I was little I wanted to be a ballerina, then it changed to a vet, after that I firmly decided to be an animator. So far that's been my main focus, only slightly shifting so I can try and be a story boardest (If thats even a real word, sorry if its not.) or a character desginer for Disney or a animation company in hawaii, my plan is still pending at the moment.

I wanted to be a stunt driver or at the very least a race car driver. I never told my parents and ended up being pushed into an electronics career which I hated. Luckily, my cousin runs a race team and he lets me get some wheel time every so often. I still want to run in a demo derby. Remember, you can't spell carnage, without car.
