Nothing having to do with my school... but, I was one national television twice.

One a long time ago, I had cancer and they interviewed me and my mom about the opening of a ronald mcdonald house in the children's hospital. That was for some NBC News thing.

Just recently, I was on Dirty Jobs for a few seconds. If you watch the one where he's at the baseball stadium, I'm the youngest, kind of nerdy looking grounds keeper. Mike Rowe was cool as shit, I showed him where the bathroom was and we had about a five minute conversation, and that's after he stayed after to make sure everyone in the stadium got an autograph.

Here's a little picture of the incident. I'm on the right of the picture. Despite how it looks in the picture, I am not actually a midget

I wasn't myself, but my brother got slimed on Nickelodeon once.

It was awesome. I got to play video games on this giant screen afterwards.

There was a politician who filmed a campaign stop at my school when I was in fourth grade. We had a question and answer section, and I remember asking a question just so I could be on TV. I don't know if I was.

7 years ago, GMTV were doing an article about my school (and the boys and girls who go to it) , of which was broadcast live.

Earlier this year, I sent a message to the videogames section of Teletext (known as GameCentral) , and although it doesn't really count as me physically being on TV, my message did come up on GameCentral for everyone in the UK to see. In the message, I was complaining about arcades in the UK going downhill (I used my Xbox Live gamertag "heroinahalfshel" as my alias) .

GameCentral can be found on Channel 4 analog text page 305, and ITV1 digital text page 805.

Not entirely retro but a lot of Mighty Ducks II was filmed at my old high school. It was the summer between my junior and senior year I think.

Not sure if it was aired nationally, but I sort of was once, when my fourth grade class went to Fort McHenry for the annual "Living American Flag" event. Kids from all over Maryland were there to form a giant US flag - each kid held up a piece of cardboard, and a helicopter filmed us from overhead. Of course, it was impossible to tell who anyone was...

Also, that same year, I think I was on national television when I was at the Memorial Day event on the National Mall. They shot a group of kids, of which I was a part, singing along to "God Bless America".

Also I was on the local news when I was in the fifth grade. They were doing a story on my school's "P.A.L." program, where 5th graders missed recess to tutor kindergarteners. They sat me down and gave me a whole interview, but I don't think any of it was aired. There was a shot of me tutoring on for a split second.

My aunt was a wardrobe person on the Mickey Mouse Club back when Justin, Britney and Christina were on it. She took me and my brother to work with her one day. We got to sit and watch a show and we even went to that concert they had. We got to be in the audience during the Brian McKnight episode. I never knew if I was actually on TV until about a month ago. I bought this DVD at Toys R Us called "MMC-The best of Britney, Justin and Christina". I watched it low and behold, the Brian McKnight episode was on it! I could barely see me and my brother in the audience when the did some shots. Then at the end of the episode, all of the people from the audience could run down and dance next to the MMC kids. I actually saw a really good shot of myself. I am staring up at something while people dance around me. I was wearing a red shirt if anyone has the DVD. I looked like I was in a trance or something I was so excited when I saw myself! I couldn't believe I actually made it on camera. I didn't see my brother though so I don't know where he went...

My school (Joliet Central) was on PBS for a show that dealt with Chicago's great suburbs. No, I was not on national television, but I have been on local tv a few times-for parades, local ball games, and even a show where me and some other Joliet Central students gave a tour of our huge high school.

I attatched a photo. It would have seemed cheesy for me to ask him for his autograph, seeing as he had just signed hundreds of autographs. He told me and my coworkers about his family and his plans, so it was like... I had a conversation with the guy, which is better than an autograph in my book.

I don't like getting people's autographs anyways, it does nothing for me... like I have to have some scrawled signature to validate an event. As far as I'm concerned, he's just a really nice, charasmatic guy who happens to be on TV.

I will be on national tv this weekend. I'm going to the NFL draft at Radio City Music Hall in NYC. You'll see me with a clinton portis jersey and a sign that says "ART MONK BELONGS IN THE HOF"
    You must enter a signature

Awesome, Warlord. How'd you get to go to the draft? You gotta know someone... I'd imagine. I agree, as a DC guy, I grew up hearing about Art Monk's feats. He's not in because the HOF committee are biased up the wazoo.

I was on a news station in Virginia when I was only a year old. My family decided to go on a vacation at Virgina Beach, where Hurricane Emily was supposed to hit. We stayed there and it turned out to be nothing =P

So yeah, there was a shot of me sleeping in the bathroom (in one of those portable crib thingies)

When some big hurricane was about to hit, my family was at the beach. A news crew was saying how the waves were getting so high and it was very dangerous, and there in the backround is me, my dad, and my best friend, the only people in the water. It was live, and my mom at the hotel had a fit when she saw us on TV.

I'm not sure if it aired nationally or not, but back in 2002, after a jury came to a conclusion of the cop killer from philly, and the district attorney was making his press conference announcing the verdict and what would happen to the guy next.. I some how managed to wedge my way behind the district attorney as he is making this big verdict press conference outside the court house in center city, philadelphia.. So this guy is rambling on and on, and the next thing I know my cell phone was ringing and it's my family saying " why are you on the tv?" and "how did i get onto the tv?" it was great.. I got onto the tv during some big huge philly news event that took years to come to the conclusion of this murderer who killed a cop.. good times..

Hahaha. That's a great story. Except for the dead cop part. You should have changed that to maybe a mischevious clown, does better with the younger demographic.
