I've got 6 of em. I've got a sun on my back, a yin yang on my ankle, Betty boop on my knee, tribal designs on my thigh and stomach and a frog on my forearm. I am gonna get one more on my lower back of a dragon & Phoenix, then I think I'm done.

Got any pics of them Kitty?

The only one I got on right now a bad scan of the sun my back. The rest are all black and whites so I never really took any pictures of them.

I don't know about you, Miss Kitty, but I feel so much... yummier

I know more and more people who are getting tattoos...but they aren't for me. If you could get rid of them easily...then maybe I would consider getting one for awhile, but you can't. So, count me out.

Yeah, but that logic to me seems like if theres not alot upstairs to impress people with, you have to do it with tatoos

AHEM... You know me well enough to see that I have plenty 'upstairs' to impress people with, as well as tattoos. It's not a question of intelligence. In most cases, it's a question of class. With me, however, they're symbolic of my resistance to conforming with society's notion that only stupid people get tattoos.

You tell 'em! Anywho....I just love the artwork. I have many.. all tastefull AND seeing as how I now work in corpoarte American, easily covered with clothing. I have a large 2 heart piece on my back (pix posted on the retro tatt thread), a superman logo on my arm with DIVA acrossed it, a dolphin on my thigh, a dolphin toe ring, a 4-leaf clover with a 13 within the leaves that say's lucky, a greek letter on my back, eyeliner. I am haveing an ankel done where the charms all mean something. I think everyone dose something to express themselves be it art, music or even religion and noone can say how you express yourself is wrong.

Just found this pic of my latest one. Its a mermaid I got in August (3 days before I broke my arm, trying to shower with a cast up to your armpit and a giant fresh tattoo is NOT FUN) the picture was taken right after the bandage came off so its a little mushy looking.

Well the beauty of tattoos really is subjective, so I can understand that some people may view them as unsightly and damaging to the body. But everyone has a different way of expressing themselves or representing their personalities. I don't mind them but I don't understand people that get them all over their bodies or on their faces or heads. That's a little freakish to me I just think of mine as body accessories and a display of my culture.. and I may just get off on the pain
It's also good if you get one in an area that doesn't tend to sag with age.
It's funny though..I've never seen a senior citizen with a tattoo.

Foxxie I'm right there with you! I think The Red Hot Chilli Peppers said it best..."I like pleasure spiked with pain..." To me it's almost a release, like when I get a pericing. I just relax and let go...I'm an odd one I know.

    I also have 5...
Right ankle - Kanji for 'hon', which means 'criminal' in Japanese (long story)
Right forearm - tribal fish I designed (nippy!)
Right shoulder - barcode with the word 'conformity' above it
Left shoulder - dragon that wraps around into my armpit
Back - Hidari Gomon (see picture)

I love girls with tattoos on thier backs. They are really sexy.

Now that is nice. I stylish tatoo can be so sexy and plain cool.

I plan to get the word JAPE done across the bottom of neck/between shoulder blades region, in gothic text, simply because the word has strong meaning to me. I'm also intending to get some Moari tatoos on my shoulders and neck.

To those who don't like the idea of tatoos simply because of them being permanent, you can get them done in vegetable ink, which fades out after several months.
More than meets the eye motherfucker!
