Although getting my first real job and buying a house and possibly marriage all seem as if they would be exciting, I know that nothing will ever replace the time I spent in high school. I'm still very active over there and going back always makes me happy, but I get very sad once I leave knowing that I was only there temporarily this time. I had good times with good people there, and also throughout my first 20 years.

Memories from me are far different than some of yours for some reason, but I agree, this thread is depressing beacuse it makes us realize just how special our youth is and the fact that we will never get it back.
