Collecting Garbage Pail Kids was one of my favorite things to do in the 80's. I found a great website so all of you can check out all of the past GPK. Which one's are your favorites?

    Here are my top favorites.
Mad Mike, Dead Ted, Explorin Norman, Midge Fridge, Micky Mouths, Hot Rod, Luke Puke, Haley's Vomit.

    Damn straight it was!!!!

Although, I am suprised it never became a cartoon. It probably would have been pretty cool.

they actually made a cartoon out of the Garbage Pail Kids but sadly in america loads of parents heard of it being made and was banned from being shown ........ HOWEVER in the UK the show was aired on Nickelodeon in the early saturday mornings the cartoon was not even gross as the parents thought the children were just deformed with unique abilities the main kids in the show involved .........

Elliot Mess a boy whose body parts are in the wrong position so his arm was a leg a, his leg was a arm his head was a foot eg

Clogged Dwayne his whole body was sewage water and could travel through the pipes/drains

Split Kit hes made out of 2 different people on his left side he,s a model student and on his right he,s a punk

Patty Putty she could make all sorts of faces by stretching her putty lik skin

and another one whose name i forgot and her face was on her hand instead of her head

I stopped collecting after the 2nd edition, though. The quality of those things went downhill FAST.

Yup, The Garbage Pail Kids ruled. I still have several boxes with unopened packages. I like to open a package every now and then and breathe in the nostalgia. The gum still sucks though.

They do have those cards back today since the 80's are making a comeback even i bought the DVD of the movie, fun and tasteless movie for those who like tasteless movies like "Freddy Got Fingered".

Since they didn't aired a cartoon series of Garbage Pail Kids, with today's standards of tasteless and vulgar humor shown in movies like " There's Something about Mary", " Van Wilder" and "American Pie" especially on shows like "South Park", "Family Guy" and "Ren & Stimpy", it could be possible for a "Garbage Pail Kids" animated series ( either traditional animation or CGI) but it has to be for Spike TV, comedy central or maybe Adult Swim since the show should be TV-14 or TV-MA on the tasteless stuff.

I used to have football practice on Saturday mornings, and I remember being really bummed out when Garbage Pail Kids were supposedly debuting. They must have yanked that right on the wire, because I remember seeing commercials hyping it up only a week before.

All this time I thought I missed something, be it good or bad. So in retrospect I'm glad I didn't ditch football that day for a cartoon that didn't even air.

I remember loving the Garbage Pale kids cards. I also remember my mom getting upset at me when I put the stickers all over my bedroom door because they were sucha pain to take off.

My sisters used to collect the cards. Now when I go to pick up my comics they have the newer ones out and my oldest daughter checks them out. She thinks they are gross and of course I think they are funny.

the new ones are awful. ever since Topps had to alter the cards, around series 10 i think, the cards went downhill. nothing is like the original.

I loved Peeping Tom, the kid with eye balls all over his body. I bought some for my nephew a few years back thinking he would love them. He looked at me and said "aunt Heather I think these are too gross."

I went crazy for those things, had them all over my Trapper Keeper. I found a card store that had all the old cards for sale in packs. I know I saw at least 4th series. I should go back and see if he still has a few.
