This went on everyday in my school. I remember our teacher in 5th grade once made these two boys go the whole day without being able to pee for horse playing in the restoom. By 2:00 they were in tears, but did not wet themselves. I also seen a few parents do this in public, but luckley mine never did this. This is less common now a days due to law suits thank God. I think these teachers liked seeing us sqirm.

What bastards, I tell you what those teachers would have known about it if one of those kids bursted a kidney or something.
And yes, I got denied the bathroom plenty of times. Thats probably why I'm good at holding on now.

My little brother used to wet himself at school all the time, and the teachers would make me deal with it. I wonder what they'd for kids without any older siblings who wet themselves? Hose 'em down, maybe.

We were not allowed to use the restroom during recess. This led to an unfortunate accident for me when, after doing the potty dance for most of one period, I had to let go. It was in winter and the snow totally gave me away. Real fun.....

I had to wear the spare pants that my teacher kept for these occasions.

Plaid bell-bottoms. Even in 1983 it looked really bad. Lucky for me my dad brought me up something to change into.

I remember my mom always used to tell me "If the teacher doesn't let you go, just walk out the room and go anyway."

I don't remember this happening in elementry or middle school, but in High school the teachers expected you to hold it or to use the restrooms during breaks or lunch. They'd let you go if you really had to, of course, so at least they weren't cruel in that aspect.

At my Elementary school, kids would always wet their pants and the principal would bring a pair of underwear and pants into the classroom. The principal would always say. "Scotty, we got a fresh pair of underwear and pants for you if you wet on yourself". Luckily, I never wet my pants. In high school you can only use the restroom once a day, even the girls, I'm like what kind of bullshit is that? Kids at the high school was sneaking outside in the bushes to urinate. When I was at the alternative school, they wouldn't let us go to the restroom unless we use the buddy system (the instructor's assitant goes with us) WHAT KIND OF CRAP IS THAT! I was like "I'm 16 f*cking years old, I don't need no damn buddy system! I'm too old for that bullsh*t!" and they never let me use the restroom at all because I bashed the buddy system. That's why I'm so use to holding it now.

in the last week og my second year in grade 6. we were going on a feild trip and i had to go to the bathroom be fore we left. my teacher told me to hold untill we got to the wildlife park. but i couldn't hold it that long so i went anyway. when i got out out the washroom my teacher ripped the red name tag off my shirt and said I couldn't go on the trip and because it was behavioural problem my parents wouldn't get a refund. so my mom said i didn't have to go back to school since there was only a week left.

I didn't have this prob in Elementary or Middle School, but they didn't like to let us go in High School. Too many people, apparently, abused the bathroom privilege, therefore, ruining it for everyone else.

I only had this problem, though, with one teacher. Back then we still didn't have that "block scheduling" system, meaning classes usually only lasted for about 45 minutes, but, for the class that falls during lunch, that was pretty much a whole hour and a half. Hour for class, half hour for lunch. We had three lunch periods: A, B, and C. For 10th grade, I had a C-lunch, so imagine that if you will. Being stuck in a classroom that long without being allowed to leave for any reason and not having the time between classes to do your business beforehand. To make matters worse, this was just a study hall. The teacher is there to play baby-sitter, not teach.

I got a terrible urinary tract infection that year because of her.

For us, I think you'd get either detention or in-school suspension for being disruptive. I've only walked out on a teacher once in my life, and it wasn't for the bathroom either. lol

It was a study hall. I think it was for 11th grade. A while before, I asked for a pass to the restroom, and took a long time going. I sorta had something that didn't agree with me for lunch. ops:

My teacher got on my case about that taking too long and how she has stomach problems herself and don't take that long. I felt like slapping her and saying, "Not everyone is like you." This is the main reason why I just stopped eating in school and stayed miserable all day. They hated to let you go to the restroom and I have a very sensitive stomach. I never know when something is going to hurt it or not anyway.

A few days later, I had permission from my Honor English teacher to go to the library to work on my research project for her class. I showed my pass to my study hall teacher, and she refused to let me go to the library. I told her I had to do my research paper. She still wouldn't let me and the reason for that was because of that bathroom incident.

I got fed up with her and left. I felt disturbed, since I disobeyed an adult, and a bit anxious, since I knew I was going to get into trouble. I didn't want to get written up or anything, and liked my nice, clean record. The worse I ever got was detention for being late to class (most of the time, it's because I probably had to stop by the restroom; we really didn't have much time between classes).

Anyway, to make a long story short, I didn't go to the library; I went to the office and to my principal and told him what happened. I figured that if I told him my side first, my teacher wouldn't be able to lie on me (and she seemed like the type who would, too). He then told me to go back, and ask her to come to the office. I did so.

After all was said and done, the principal talked to me again, and said that I was in the right and how she was in the wrong, but, to watch my tone with her, because when I went back to fetch her for him, he said that my teacher said that it sounded like I was "dissing" her. I think I was just so excited over all that was going on, I unintentionally came across that way.

I hate when your in a class and you have to go, so you ask the teacher but their like "why didn't you go before class", everytime a teacher said that I sooooo badly wanted to just say "Uh, maybe because I didn't have to go before class, DUH"
