I love Cuba Libre but you guys in the US can´t drink it the right way because you are not allowed to drink the good old Havanna Club Rum ( I prefer the three year old for Cuba Libre ). So if you get a hold on a botle of Havanna try it
I won´t start about beer because I live in Germany so I have the best kinds of beer anyway

But I'm not talking about beer... I don't like beer... I like rum's and vodka's...

The reason you don't like beer is because you have probably had the poor excuse for beer made by Coors, Bud, Yuengling, or Miller. I know this is going to make me come off as somewhat of a beer snob, but I have many many years drinking experience. The American Macro Lager is bland to taste and not worth the drink. You should go with a good pale ale, full bodied taste and well worth the money.

Here is my recommendations for you:

    Young's Double Chocolate Stout
    Oak Rum Stout
    Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

All these are well worth the money

As much as I like good beer and agree that American mass produced beers are crap, I'm going to have to disagree with you. Most people need to work their way up to micros and imports. If he can't stomach Coors light, there's no way he'll be able to handle drinking a Chocolate Stout.

I don't think getting drunk is a good thing at all, no matter what the level of drunkenness, it just lowers your inhibitions and deep thinking processes. I don't feel any need to do that to myself. Although, I do enjoy some red wine with dinner from time to time, but never more than one or two glasses. That'd be my reccommendation.

I don't try to force my friends to not drink if they really want to, but I will tell them that they just shouldn't do it. And that uaually leaves me having the most fun watching them make fools of themselves later on.

You're not paying attention... I've drank plenty of beers before... But it's not that I can't "stomach" it... It's that I would rather drink vodka or rum over a beer.... Beer's flavour is garbage... If these other drinks he's mentioned has a better taste to it, or what I think would be a better taste, then I may just check them out.

See, and here I was trying to bite my tongue over this issue.

Anybody that gets drunk just to get drunk immediantly goes to nearly the bottom of the list of worthwhile people in my book. They're slightly above crackheads, and just below a prostitute.

Balderdash. That's like saying if you listen to bad music (no I won't name names here), you have to work your way up to listening to the true greats like Falco (Import).

Bad beer just makes you better appreciate what a good beer is. Those beers that i mentioned don't have a higher alcohol count, but they do taste better. Plus the chicks dig a guy that follows his own rules and doesn't drink what everyone else is drinking.

If you are just thirsty, have a water.
If you just want to just get drunk, there is moonshine.
If you want to get the babes, have a Sam Adams...always a good decision.

why does everyone drink cheerleader beer?

    Whats cheerleader beer?

I enjoy a guiness, or a Down Town Brown. I love a good well crafted beer. I dont really drink hard alachol anymore, it really disagrees with my stomach.

Magic Hat #9 sounds like something that should be the title of a heart song.

Favorite beer: Shiner Bock. It's mostly local to Texas though.

Favorite hard liquor: pretty much any variety of Captain Morgan's rum

Favorite mixed drink at home: Screwdrivers. When possible I use premium orange juice and Absolut vodka. I'll drink the cheap stuff in a pinch.

Favorite mixed drink at bars or clubs: Long Island iced tea. Tastes like lemonade despite having lots of liquor. Even if it's mixed where half of it is liquor, it still tastes pretty good.

If you just want the effect to hit you really fast, you might try what's called an Irish Car Bomb. You pour a glass of beer (preferably Guiness) and then drop in a shot of Irish cream (preferably Bailey's) glass and all and immediately chug the whole thing without stopping. It tastes better than you'd expect, and the effect hits you all at once, because you chugged it. You have to chug it because if you drink it normally the cream will clot.

i don't drink to get drunk, i hate that feeling, although it can be fun once in a while. i drink bud light 95% of the time. my step dad owns an anheuser-busch distrubutor. so, a-b basically raised me (monetarily). i do like it better than most other beers tho. can't stand the taste of miller products. the 5% i'm not drinking beer it's whiskey or jagermeister shots. my 2¢.

Dr. Pepper's - glass of beer, shot of amaretto, chug. It tastes exactly like Dr. Pepper the soft drink (hence the name, duh).
