blenheimears Posted 10 years 11 months ago
Gotta love LifeAlert. That and HeadON!
DarkDesire667 Posted 11 years 1 month ago
On the new one, they tried to make it less funny, the old lady says "I have fallen and I can't get up, I need help!"

I will be making a retro soundboard... not for prank calls, but, pure nostalgia. This MUST be on it! at least, the audio
Zinger Posted 12 years 14 days ago
If you have fallen and can't get up to call for help, wouldn't you be risking it to call the 1-800 number to get the LifeAlert system? But yeah, the jokes that's been said over the years. Memories.

"I'VE FALLEN, AND I CAN'T GET UP!!!". This commercial is probably the one I remember most from when I was a kid. I still laugh to this day. What a classic.

WHAT A CLASIC!!!
walkingqueen98 Posted 12 years 5 months ago
i love that i shouldnt laugh but that was the ultimate catch phrase of the 80s ive fallen and i cant get up LOL
charliebrown Posted 12 years 7 months ago
the expression on the ol dudes face man, hahahahaha, he was really in character for that lil gig huh?
mr3urious Posted 12 years 11 months ago
I like the new version of the LifeAlert commercial. It sort of pays tribute to the old one.
babygiraffe123 Posted 13 years 3 months ago
I used to think this commercial was so funny when I was a kid, about 5 or 6 years old. Now I'm 24 and don't find it to be amusing at all, because it reminds me of my own grandparents, who are both in really poor health.

I wonder if the people who made this commercial had any idea at all it would become what it did? This commercial alone made Edith Fore a cult figure, but why oh why did the guy who portrayed Mr. Miller get the short shrift? I thought he was just as memorable as poor Mrs. Fletcher...
Sleepygean Posted 13 years 6 months ago
I remember my mom always saying that when I was lil. lol!
deathboy13669 Posted 13 years 6 months ago
I know its not right to say this but I laughed my butt off when the old lady was down and she could not get up.

I remember this commercial, and even though it's wrong, I couldn't help but laugh at that old lady because she sounded funny.
Units1019 Posted 13 years 7 months ago
Oh man!! The one commercial you knew the whole family would laugh at. At least mine.
SummertmeBrews Posted 13 years 7 months ago
LOL !!! most memorable!

Wow! I so remember this commercial. I cracked up every time I saw it. It still cracks me up even after all these years.
kimsy520 Posted 13 years 8 months ago
I remember this commercial....poor old lady
Hailey Posted 13 years 9 months ago
We're just making fun of how exaggerated it is!
Hailey Posted 13 years 9 months ago
Oh lighten up!
Benjo Posted 13 years 9 months ago
"I'm having...chest pains!" It doesn't get any more hilarious than that. I really love the woman at the beginning with the humongous 80s hair.
Simpfan83 Posted 13 years 9 months ago
Is THAT where the phrase "I've fallen and I can't get up!" came from???
TV1985 Posted 13 years 9 months ago
I do remember this commercial. It's a good thing old people have (or had) those kinds of devices whenever they needed help when they couldn't dial 911.
robmon300 Posted 13 years 9 months ago
too funny ha ha
DieYuppieScum Posted 13 years 9 months ago
this is sadly a classic
EmeraldeJade Posted 13 years 10 months ago
