I was so excited when this came out. I remember telling my best friend that i was getting it for xmas and that we were going to build a tree house with it but when i finally got it i was dissapointed cause i came to realize it wasnt made to cut through real wood but i still enjoyed it.

I actually had this and wish I still did. My father decided to mess with my head though and set up the jigsaw and didn't tell me that it was designed to not cut a person and then stuck his thumb on it while it was going and started screaming which made me panic and then he showed me that it didn't do anything. Unfortunately for me though I didn't know how to properly use any part of it or even set it up and my father's idea of helping was telling me read the directions and leave him alone. So I ended up losing parts while trying to put it together and it stopped working and my parents had to throw it away. Lesson to all you parents out there, when your 8 year old kid comes to you for help putting something together, DON'T just say, "Read the instructions, now leave me alone so I can watch the ball game." Eventually the toy they needed help with WILL become a waste of money lol.

I had this, the most fun part was using the lathe to build "candleholders"

Wanted this but my dad is a handyman and would see the commercial and go "Oh please, that stuff will break easily." I trusted his opinion.

I remember these. My dad would not get us this because he said we had perfectly good tools in the garage that were stronger and not as expensive and to use thoes but we were not to touch his power saw.. anything else was up for grabs. (Our dad was not very pro saftey)
