I hate cable companies nothing but a bunch of crap asses that want to make money off everyone.Lets keep our free Television for good and vote no for cable no matter who or who does not agree on this.

I remember this ad very well, heck, Comcast will raise their rates soon, it will be time to feed the "Cable Pig" and the Monsters more. I'm still mad at them putting Sci-Fi Channel in the digital tier.

Well, you will still be able to receive "Free TV" over the air when it goes digital, some stations can carry more than one channel, our NBC affiliate here in Pittsburgh will offer Retro-TV over the air for free, sort of like another version of TV Land. Still, I'll need a box for my "newest TV," my 1982 Zenith which I've been using since then.

Getting back to the subject, I do hope we can keep "free" (we still pay via the advertisers when we buy their products) TV with the transistion to full digital, we might need to sign that petition again.

thats a funny commercial. But "free TV" (antenna)is now at risk for real because everything will be going digital and you'll need a box. That sucks. My room doesn't have a cable line so where am I going to get my TV? (By the way, I'm 15 and do not own my house so I can't put one in)

Well, I guess there wasn't enough voice to stop the cable companies from taking over.

Well, how about that.

In the UK you must pay for a TV license or else you get fined. We also have cable, digital and sattelite tv as well (which you must pay for).

What is this 'cable TV' you speak of? I guess it never caught on.
