If you get One 6 oz cup bag of diamond sliced almonds, and one 11 oz bag of Ghirardelli white chocolate chips you can create this simple masterpiece.

If you start them at the same time, the chips will be melted when the almonds are done.

Thanks for the recipe/cooking instrutions "Justin Gazda" @

Toast the almonds at 300 degrees for 10 mins while you heat the chocolate chips in a double boiler, after first having boiled the water.

Thank You! Justin Gazda @ ~~~~~ for the recipe/cooking info.

The best candy bar ever made in my books, and they give it the ax! I read the comment on here from "wiccalee" about it was given the ax because it didn't bring in enough turnaround in the pockets of Nestlé S.A.! The company that made "Alpine White" A company with a 89.8 billion revenue in 2017! I don't know about others, but I would have gladly paid more for it! It kinda reminds me of a film company that pays 100 million to make a movie, and its turn around is 250 million. They make a 150 million clear from sales, yet they say, sorry we won't be making a sequel, because they didn't make enough from the previous film? Come On! But as they say, "All Good Things Must Come To An End" Alpine White! We miss You old friend! An hope of a miracle one day You will return to those that love Ya! But until then, there is always the memories of a time that has gone by, but never forgotten. An they say progress is best for us. I say the old days was the best.An they can keep their progress!

I remember this commercial was definitely from the mid-1980s. (There were actually two versions of it, same song).
I LOVED this commercial. I was only a toddler when it came out, and my mom and I used to sing the jingle to it together."Sweeet dreams, you ca-aa-aa-an't resist". I think I even tried it and it was very sweet and delicious. It was a wonderful product, and it is too bad Nestle doesn't sell it anymore because I am sure many people (even on this page) would buy it.

I had actually called the Nestle Candy Company and asked if it would ever be re-marketed and I received a big negative on it. Even though, I explained that I knew two people who would love to buy them again they stated that their sales of the product versus its manufacture was not cost effective and which means that it would basically be a cold day in He(Double Hockey Sticks) before they return this back on shelves.

You're a crappy product, Alpine White was the best around. Followed by Whatchamacallits.

Don't remember the commercial but I ate those bars all the time as a kid because of my allergy to regular chocolate, thank god I can eat the regular stuff now
