10.Batman Returns (1993)

I have never been a big fan of any of the Batman games that have come out in the recent years. When it comes to Batman Returns though this game is bad ass. Based on the 1992 film, this game holds true to what the movie is. Letting experience great moments such as fighting Catwomen & Penguin or driving the Batmobile. My favorite moment from playing this game is grabbing the clowns and smashing them into the glass display windows.

9.Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage (1994)

LJN is well known for being one of the worst video game companies for making games based on popular franchises. To this date Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage is the only game I have ever enjoyed playing from LJN. My favorite moment from playing this game is being able to play as Venom, playing as Spider-Man is still fun don't get me wrong but Venom always seemed to be a lot cooler to play as.

8.X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse (1994)

This has to be one of the best X-Men games ever created. The thing that really made this game truly great was being able to choose from 5 different characters who were Beast, Psylocke, Cyclops, Gambit, and my personal favorite Wolverine because he is Canadian eh. It was nice to see that the developers at Capcom stayed true to the 1992 animated series making the game even that much better for it's time and for the fans of the TV show. My favorite moment from playing this game was using Wolverine and beating the crap out of all the bad guys with his special moves, TORNADO CLAW!!!!!!.

7.Battletoads & Double Dragon (1993)

Good old Battletoads & Double Dragon, this game is truly unique by crossing over two very popular franchises and being awesome at the same time. I loved playing this game with my brother when we were kids, I would always choose one of the Battletoads because I thought they were a lot cooler. My favorite moment from playing this game was the co-op, but is still lots of fun playing solo.

6.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (1992)

I can remember when I was a kid and I would go with my mom over to her friends place and play this game with her son. Before me and he knew it almost 3 hours had gone by and we were still glued to the TV.It wasn't till a few years ago that I was finally able to purchase this game for my SNES and I still play it from time to time. My favorite moment from playing this game was being able to throw the Foot Clan against the TV screen.
5.Captain Commando (1995)

Once when I was up North visiting my grandparents and my brother and I went out with my Grandma to a bowling alley where she was meeting up with her team. My brother and I bowled for a bit and then noticed a few arcade games off to the side and one of the arcade cabinets was Caption Commando. We played the hell out of that game until it was time to leave. When I found out a few years later that the homeopath for the SNES had come out I wanted it so bad but never got to purchase it. My favorite moment from playing this game was using Baby Head a.k.a. The Baby Commando, I always thought it was cool of the idea of having a baby in a mech suit.

4.Final Fight 3 (1995)

Out of all the Final Fight games that have come out this one is not my favorite, but it is still a very good game and probably the best in the series.I rented Final Fight 3 once when I was a kid and oh boy did I love it.My favorite moment from playing this game was using Haggar to do his wrestling moves on all the bad guys, best part was using them on the bosses, also this game had a pretty sweet roster of four characters that all had their own special moves.

3.Knights of the Round (1994)

Knights of the Round was a really good game back in the day.It really had a lot going for it,7 Stages which all had their end bosses, a RPG system were you would level up at the end of every stage also changing the appearance of your character. To sum it all up this guy is really good and I wish i had it in my collection. My favorite moment from playing this game is seeing how much crazier looking the boss would look at he end of every stage.

2.Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems (1996)

This game took everything that X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse did and made it a hundred times better.First to start you can play as Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk,Iron Man,Captain America, and of course my personal favorite Wolverine.Throughout the game character revives and health randomly placed in the levels,a character can be brought back to life or healed,I always thought that was awesome that you can get bits of health around the stages, also if someone died they there would always be a possibility to play as them again. My favorite moment from playing this game is using the Infinity Gems and experiment with them to see what character they suited best.

1.Final Fight (1991)

For me this game is very important. When I first got my SNES Final Fight was the first game I ever played. The one reason it will always hold a special place in my heart is because my Dad got it for me and I always though that was really cool of him to do,if it wasn't for my Dad my passion for Beat 'Em Up games might have never happened. My favorite moment from playing this game was when my Dad got me a Turbo controller and just throw punches and kicks as if there is no tomorrow.
