I am a huge Simpsons fan. The show was one of the most influential series from the 20th century, if not the most influential. The yellow family broke down the doors for animated comedy, and without them, shows like "South Park," "Family Guy," "Beavis and Butthead," "Futurama," "American Dad," and "King of the Hill," would not even exist. Here, I'm to give a list of what I think are the top 10 best seasons of the entire show.

10. Season 13 (2001-2002):

This season had tons of great episodes such as "I Am Furious (Yellow)," "The Bart Wants What It Wants, "She of Little Faith," "Blame it on Lisa," "The Sweetest Apu," and the most hilarious episode of the season, "Weekend at Burnsie's," the episode where Homer smokes pot!

9. Season 9 (1997-1998):

This season starts of great with "The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson." It also includes the most controversial episode of the entire series, "The Principal and the Pauper," the episode where Principal Skinner is not really Principal Skinner, but Armin Tanzarian. However, there is also tons of other great episodes like "Lisa's Sax," "The Cartridge Family," "Lisa the Skeptic," "Bart Carny," and "The Joy of Sect."

8. Season 5 (1993-1994):

This was a great season. It had classic episodes such as "Homer's Barbershop Quartet," "Cape Feare," "Homer Goes to College," "Homer Loves Flanders," "Bart Gets Famous," "Rosebud," and "Deep Space Homer."

7. Season 12 (2000-2001):

I love this season. It starts of with the brilliant "Homer vs. Dignity." This season also has other brilliant and classic episodes such as "Trilogy of Error," "A Tale of Two Springfields," "HOMR," "Hungry Hungry Homer," "Skinner's Sense of Snow," "Lisa the Tree Hugger," "Insane Clown Poppy," ""The Computer Wore Menace Shoes," "Worse Episode Ever," "Tennis the Menace," "Day of the Jackanapes," and the episode that a lot of people do not like (but its really funny) "New Kids on the Blecch."

6. Season 7 (1995-1996):

This amazing season started out with the second part of "Who Shot Mr. Burns," ("Who Shot Mr. Burns? Part Two)." It has my favorite Treehouse of Horror episode, "Treehouse of Horror VI." It also had tons of my favorite episodes like "Bart Sells His Soul," "Lisa the Vegetarian," "King-Size Homer," "Mother Simpson," "Marge Be Not Proud," "Team Homer," "Bart the Fink," "Homer the Smithers," "A Fish Called Selma," "22 Short Films About Springfield" "Much Apu About Nothing" "Homerpalooza" and "Bart on the Road."
5. Season 11 (1999-2000):

This season definitely had to make the top 5. It included tons of classic and hilarious episodes such as "Behind the Laughter," "Bart to the Future," "Last Tap Dance in Springfield," "Kill the Alligator and Run," "Missionary: Impossible," "Brother's Little Helper," "Guess Who's Coming to Criticize Dinner," "Saddlesore Galactica," "Alone Again, Natura-Diddily," "Days of Wine and D'oh'ses," "Take My Wife, Sleaze," and "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Marge." This season also had some of the funniest moments in the entire show like Homer swearing at the ambulance, Bart's life in the future, all the PBS characters chasing Homer, and one of Homer's classic quotes, "Guess how many boobs I saw today, Marge?...Fifteen!!!"

4. Season 4 (1992-1993):

This is the season where The Simpsons fully hit their stride. This season has some of the show's best and most classic episodes such as "Mr. Plow," "Last Exit to Springfield," "Homer the Heretic," "A Streetcar Named Marge" and "Krusty Gets Kancelled."

3. Season 10 (1998-1999):

This season is definitely one of my favorite seasons. The animation hugely improved, the gags and jokes became funnier. Its just an all around great season. But for some reason, there are people are say the show went downhill in the tenth season. All I have got to say is this: I COMPLETELY DISAGREE!!! Those people are wrong! There are still of plenty of great laughs in Season 10, and you can't go wrong with episodes like "Viva Ned Flanders," "Bart the Mother," or Homer Simpson in: "Kidney Trouble."

2. Season 8 (1996-1997):

I freaking love this season. This season has huge favorite episodes of mine such as "Homer's Enemy," "Homer's Phobia," "Homer vs. the 18th Amendment," "The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show," "Bart After Dark," "A Milhouse Divided," "Hurricane Neddy," "You Only Move Twice," "Simpsoncalifragilisticexpiala(Annoyed Grunt)cious," "The Simpsons Spin-Off Showcase," "The Springfield Files," and "The Twisted World of Marge Simpson."

And last but not least:

1. Season 6 (1994-1995):

This is the best season of the entire show. Treehouse of Horror V is the best Treehouse of Horror episode ever. It also tons of classic episodes such as "Bart of Darkness," "Lisa's Rival," "Itchy & Scratchy Land," "Sideshow Bob Roberts," "Bart's Girlfriend," "Lisa on Ice," ""Homer Badman," "Grampa vs. Sexual Inadequacy," "Fear of Flying," "Homer the Great," "And Maggie Makes Three," "Bart vs. Australia," "Homer vs. Patty and Selma," "A Star Is Burns," "Homie the Clown," "Bart's Comet," and "Lemon of Troy." It also ends with the well known cliffhanger, "Who Shot Mr. Burns? (Part One)." It does not get any better than this season.
