Okay, I admit it, I am actually a bit nostalgic for the "old days"..... Half of the stuff on this site I actually thought was cool back then, and the other half I am laughing myself to death at -- I thought the advertising staff and sitcom writers of TODAY'S world are on dope... good lord, they have nothing on the 80s.... LOL!!!!

I grew up during the 80s and early 90s. My favorite shows were (probly missing a few I can't remember the titles of) The Dukes Of Hazzard, Knight Rider, BJ and the Bear, Hardcastle And McCormick, Police Academy animated series, BraveStarr, Different Strokes, Hunter, among others I can't bring to mind right now.

My favorite movies were the Star Wars trilogy and Smokey And The Bandit. Does anyone remember the Intellivision? My dad had one and when the high-score contest for Astrosmash was running, he monopolized the TV for I think, 2 solid weeks. Well over 85 million points, if memory serves, and STILL didn't win.... ACK!... I know a lot of people in the 90s looked back at the 80s and thought "What were we thinking?" But while change can be good, I don't think the world has changed as much for the good as it has in other ways since the 80s. People KNEW each other back then.... these days, you never really KNOW anybody. :)

I am in Central Virginia, and I run my own business. Have a great love of music and movies. If anyone knows of sources for 70s 80s and 90s shows that have been released on DVD, let me know....

Would also be nice to meet some cool people on here, so hit me up :)

I know Dana Plat got in trouble. A couple years after the show ended, she tried to hold up a Blockbuster store. She was a drug addict.
