I really like anything from the 80's up through about the mid 90's. I like the good movies and the bad, the good toys and the junk toys. I think it's all just fun.
I have a room in my house that is just for all my old retro stuff. When my wife and I decided to build a house I told her she could design it, decorate it, do whatever she wanted as long as I got one room somewhere in the house to put my stuff. I used to go downstairs and hang out there all the time but now I have a toddler roaming around here and he keeps me from going down there like I used to (not that I would have it any other way though). I'm hoping that by writing Random Retro it will help me to appreciate the things that I haven't spent time with over the last few years.
