This page is designed to help you troubleshoot any login problems you may have. If you cannot find a solution to your problem here please contact us

  • I forgot my password. What do I do?

If you have forgotten your password you can reset it here.
  • I forgot my username. What do I do?

If you cannot remember your username you can have it sent to your email here.
  • I have an existing Retro Junk account that I would like to log into from Google or Facebook. How do I do that?

To link an existing account to one of the sign in providers log into the account and then click the "My Account" drop down list at the top of the page and select "Manage Sign In Link". From there you can link to one of the sign in providers.
  • Where did Yahoo sign in go?

We have recently migrated to a new remote authentication system (OAuth 2.0). Unfortunately due to inconsistencies in the Yahoo API we have decided to discontinue Yahoo sign in.

If you currently have an account tied to a Yahoo login, remember your Retro Junk username and can access the email tied to it (usually a Yahoo email) you can recover the account here.
  • I have an account linked to a Google sign in but now when I try to log in it wants me to create a new account. What gives?

If the account was created prior to 03/22/2015 you will unfortunately need to go through the account recovery process here. In upgrading to the latest authorization system used by Google it was not possible to carry over the old account links. You can re-link your account to Google or any of the other providers once you have recovered your account. Once you are logged in directly to the site go to the "My Account" drop down list at the top of the page and select "Manage Sign In Link".
  • I have an OAuth (Google, Facebook) linked account created after 03/22/2015 but when I try to log in it wants me to create a new account. What gives?

This is most likely caused by trying to sign into a Retro Junk account with the wrong provider or with a different account on the provider than was used when the Retro Junk account was created. Make sure to remember what provider you used to originally create the account as well as the what account on that provider was used.
  • I have an OAuth (Google, Facebook) linked account but I would like to log in directly to the site. How do I do that?

To enable direct login you must set a password for your account. To do this log into your account with the provider you registered with then go to the "My Account" drop down list at the top of the page and select "Profile". Once there click "Edit Password" to set your new password. Now you can log in directly to the site.
  • I would like to change the Retro Junk account that my OAuth (Google, Facebook) account is tied to. How do I do that?

If you have an OAuth account linked to a Retro Junk account that you no longer use you can unlink it by logging into the Retro Junk account then clicking the "My Account" drop down list at the top of the page and selecting "Manage Sign In Link". Then choose to unlink the account. Now you are free to link that provider account on another Retro Junk account.
