Episode Title: The Hotel Inspectors
Episode Plot
Basil is tending to Mr. Hutchinson, a new guest who likes everything done to his satisfaction. Unfortunately, Basil mistreats him and tries to physically harm him (slam the telephone on his finger) until Sybil says that there are three hotel inspectors in town. With this information, Basil believes Mr. Hutchinson is one of them and treats him like a king. Another, similar guest, Mr. Walt is mistreated by Basil for complaining about his meal. The treatment is swapped around when it turns out that Mr. Hutchinson is a spoon salesman. Later, after a scuffle between Mr. H and Basil, Mr. Walt decides to leave, reducing Basil to crying like a baby. The real inspectors turn up, just as Basil and Manuel see Mr. Hutchinson off with a cream pie and a suitcase full of milk. Basil suddenly realises the real inspectors are there.
