C.O.P.S. Season 1 Episode 1
Episode Title: The Case of the Bogus Justice Machines
Episode Plot
Head City Councilmen, Vargas instigated the manufacturing of the Instant Justice Machines and programed them to enforced the law of Empire City the wrong way. They've been arresting people for minor offensives while setting free crooks such as Berserko and Ms. Demeanor who commit the most major of offensives. To make matters worse, Vargas is bribed by Big Boss into using the Justice Machines to replace the C.O.P.S. as the head law enforcers of Empire City.
To get to the bottom of this corruption, Mace and Barricade is sent to infiltrating a factory cooperation known as Vetrocon, a company that manufactured these law-enforcing robots. When they bust themselves inside, the 2 real law enforcers ended up getting captured by the robots, that hold both of them prisoner at the warehouse area of the building, until Barricade befriends one of the robots standing guard over the 2 C.O.P.S. and persuaded him to release him and Mace from the bonds so that they can join up with their friends that were barging into the factory to not only rescue Mace and Barricade and defeat the robots but to also apprehend Vargas as well.
When the C.O.P.S. cornered Vargas in the control room of the factory, Vargas suddenly warns the team to get back or else he will push a button that will cause the factory to self-destruct. Mace, the hot-head, began making all sorts of violent threats against Vargas with a strong intention to jump on him. But Barricade quiets Mace and peacefully negotiates with Vargas into giving himself up to the C.O.P.S., which he did. Barricade knows there are ways to settle matters in peace without resorting to violence to solve problems. Something even Mace learns from all of this as well.
