Goosebumps Season 1 Episode 14
Episode Title: Night of the Living Dummy II
Episode Plot
Two siblings who just moved in, discovers a sponge living in their sink that feeds on pain and suffering in this Goosebumps tale. The "sponge" has some rather odd properties. It seems to breathe and is warm. Unlucky things start to happen around the oldest sibling, Katrina. When their friend brings his "Encyclopedia on weird", they find it is called a Grool. From the book Katrina learns that by having it in her possession, it causes bad luck, often resulting in injury, both to her and to those around her. Also, she learns that if the grool's "owner" gives it to someone else, they die. After many failed attempts to dispose of it, she learns that it can not be destroyed in any violent or physical way. After brainstorming, she realises how to destroy it by doing the reverse, loving and soothing it The book ends with their dog Killer bringing in a Lanx (a parasitic potato-like creature) to Katrina and it then freezes not saying whats next.
