Superfriends Season 1 Episode 6
Episode Title: THE SHAMON U
Episode Plot
What starts off as a mountain hiking trip on Mystery Mountain winds up being an adventure involving a giant "U" shaped magnet and a lazor gun. The Super Friends encounter Dr. Simeon Shamon, who from his mountain lab is sky mining for gold nuggets, but the greedy doctor doesn't realize that his sky mining has created an invisisible mist that causes plants and animals to grow or shrink. Even Wonder Dog becomes gigantic for a ahile. Madame LaBone, Dr. Shamon's assistant quits when she sees how greedy he is, and works with the Super Friends and discovers the mist which she calls Shamonite. Dr. Shamon remorses and shuts his lab down when he learns about the Shamonite, and the Super Friends spend the rest of the episodeusing their super brains trying to figure out how to get rid of the Shamonite in the air and bring the affected plants, animals, and Wonder Dog back to normal size This story is a good lesson in the dangers of upsetting the ecological balance of nature.
