Superfriends Season 1 Episode 8
Episode Title: THE ANDROIDS:
Episode Plot
The Super Friends are called to protect all space projectsat the Cape Courageous Space Center when a space launch goes wrong snd a threat from a man named Dr. Rebos surfaces. Dr. Rebos is an inventor who makes robots of people to do his bidding. He is out to destroy the space projects as a way of telling the world his frustration that people are concentrating too much on space and not enough time with the sick and needy on Earth. Dr. Rebos is aided by his dimwitted assistant Loco (appropriately named). Rebos makes a robot duplicate of Wonder Dog to destroy a space project that gets the real Wonder Dog accused by Col. Wilcox. While Wendy and Marvin try to clear Wonder Dog's name, the Super Friends encounter more trouble when Dr. Rebos makes a robot of Superman, and programs him to destroy the Mars space station. While the real Superman fights his android double, the rest of the Super Friends put Dr. Rebos's androids out of commission.
