The X Files Season 1 Episode 1
Episode Title: Pilot
Episode Plot
Special Agent Fox Mulder (David Duchovny), a believer in aliens and UFOs, finds himself partnered with Special Agent Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson), a pure skeptic. Together, they make up the partnership that investigates The X-Files, cases deemed unsolvable (and unusual!) by the government.
This particular episode is their very first case together. In Oregon, Mulder and Scully are sent to investigate the mysterious death of a young woman found in the forest. She is dressed in her pajamas, and has three distinct marks on her back.
As they delve further into the case, Mulder's beliefs are reaffirmed, and even Scully witnesses things she cannot explain. This is just the beginning of the many cases which make up The X-Files.
