Episode Plot
Schoolteachers Ian and Barbara follow their pupil Susan home one evening, to a rather strange blue police box. Forcing their way inside, Ian and Barbara discover something that is beyond even their imaginations: a time machine. Transported back in time in the machine the pair find themselves trapped in the year 100,00 BC. They need help, and the only man they can turn to is Susan's Grandfather, and the owner of the time machine, known mysteriously as 'The Doctor'...
