I was a bad student growing up, hardly did my homework, talked in class, and played too much Nintendo, caused my grades to be an average or below at times.

Open School Night was the worst day of the school year for me, as my report cards would usually have alot of red marks which would then lead to me getting hit with the belt.

I've gotten whipped so many times, I eventually became immune to a beating.


So instead, my parents decided to beat me mentally, by taking away my Nintendo for a few weeks

Well, my parents are ok now, but as far as kicking and biting, As I said before, my Hands wre tied, and my mouth was stuff with a sock.

Nothing more could of been done except improve my Grades !

Did these beating leave bruises? I think spanking should be something mainly for younger kids and for older kids for more serious infractions. Like you said they happened so much they lost their intended effect. Taking away your Nintendo probably worked just as well or better.

I knew kids like you. Some of their parents used belts and a few even used a paddle like they used in school. Overall the spanked kids were better behaved especially into the teen years.

I got one beating with the belt by my mom for behavioral problems in school. She came in the bedroom after work and just started waling on me. I think I was in 5th or 6th grade. It didn't do any good because there were deep rooted problems and she was not consistent with it.

Though I did not have bruises, other than the fact my butt was so numbed, it tickled each time I sat down, so I would have to stand alot more, which was an addition to the punishment.

My father actually had a set of belts specifically for each type of punishment, where 1 belt would have a certain quality to it, that made the feeling more stronger, while other belts for minor beatings would usually be more of a cheaper branded belt.

I wonder what ever happneed to those belts, if I found them I would probably pass it down to my children

I was never beaten for bad grades...At least not by my Mom. If anything, I beat myself up. I do recall one time that my Mom was punching me to the point where I was crying and begging for her to stop. I don't even know what it was that I did to deserve the beating, but my brother said I was asking for the beating. Who the fuck would ASK to be treated like a punching bag? Thankfully, it was a one-time beating and it never happened again.




Always an 80s fan, but fine with the 00s.

I like some 90s stuff, but I would rather talk about either the 80s or 00s. The 90s was a bad decade for me.
