Deleted 7 years 10 months ago Posts: 54340	I used to love Time Killers. Every time I would walk past an arcade that had it, I couldn't help but sink a few quarters into it. I played it again a few years ago, and was surprised at how remarkably bad it has aged compared to current fighting games.

Deleted 7 years 10 months ago Posts: 54340	God, that game was PHAT. I can remember going to this really shitty arcade on the other side of manassas VA. Me and my friend we like 15 and you could smoke in that place! We felt so cool. We'd rock the Afterburner game. The one that actually moved and you sat in it, and then we'd play time killers. I was always that freak with the mohawk and the chainsaw. I remember if you pressed all the buttons at once (there were like 6) the chainsaw guy would spin around and lop someones head off, BAM end of the match. Jesus that was a cool game.

It was not Street Fighter graphics or gameplay BUT it was unique because you had 5 attack buttons, right and left arms, head and right and left legs and when you dizzied your opponents you had the chance to decapitate and cut off both arms. I have the game on my MAME 32 arcade emulator BTW. Death was a bitch to bead but I use Rancid and kick his ass. I just did a screen capture from the game I love my MAME.. So many classic arcade games..

GUEST 7 years 10 months ago Posts: 184	the games mentioned are weak when compared to CHILLER. in that game, you used a rifle controller to do damage. one scene entails people strapped into various torture devices. you shoot the mechanisms that do the damage, such as the guilotine rope to drop the blade or the clamp that squeezes their head. another scene has you shooting off flesh, bones, and so on. this game was always fun. if that game was out today...the whole damn political community, soccer moms, and local churches would all be raising hell.
