Milli Vanilli was awesome! Actually, lol, it was pouring at school the other day, i took my speakers, which are loud as hell, and put them right at the dorm window and played Blame it on the Rain. I got mixed reviews, but i thought it was funny. They were good, too bad they went down the way they did.

it was only last week that in my lesson we were watching a documentry on the pop video and on it had Milli Vanilli. it showed a bit of Girl, You Know It's True plus footage of them having to give back their Grammy after they got caught when the backing track got stuck at a gig. they went on to try and proove that although they didn't sing on the record they could still sing and they went into some studio somewhere and started recording themselves singing GYKIT in front of TV cameras. it was quite funny i have to admit. who were the guys who actually sang on the record?

I seem to remember them having their own cartoon, not just an appearance on Mario Bros.

I remember when their gig was finally up, and the clip of them running off stage at a live show circulated all over the news. It's strange how lip-synching was taken so seriously then. Lip-synching is commonly practiced among most of today's pop stars. Sure, MV's voices on their album wasn't even their own...but neither is a voice that's professionally engineered, filtered and enhanced.

Oh yes, who could ever forget good ole Milli Vanilli :) ! I used to always wonder if their jewels suffocated from wearing those tighty wighties! However, I cannot deny that I was singing and dancing along with them, tights, braids, and all !

Hey! Hey! Hey! Did anyone here go to the concert where the song started to skip? Or @ least do you have a clip of it?

I just do not understand why they didn't get caught sooner..

How can a group put out a few albums without anyone knowing they are lip synching? :?
