    		 I remember they used one in the Are You Afraid of the Dark episode "Tale of the Hungry Hounds" and it told them the combination to the trunk with their dead aunt's riding gear.

    		 I love how people immediately dismiss it as being "bogus" just because it didn't work for them, especially when they and their friends weren't being serious when trying to use it. :roll:

    If you seriously use it, and use it correctly, they very much work.

    		 the ouija board is a gateway between the spirit world and here.
    it was originally used to interpret messages from the living to the dead, back in 540 BC... and can also transcend spirits and demons to this day.
    it's really something you shouldn't fuck with. not unless you seek possession, misfortune, and a haunted house.

    		 I grew up in the bible belt south so asking for or having a ouija board was a BIG no no in our family :lol: .Those things were in league with the devil my grandmother would say :lol:

    I immediately dismiss it as bogus because IT'S MASS-PRODUCED BY PARKER BROS. Not to mention, I believe all "supernatural phenomenon" are experienced by having an overactive subconcious psyche.

    		 One time my brother was messing around with one of those things (We think its a huge crock of shit.) He put 2 toy wrestlers on to it & said "If it can move things then let's see it move these. Go on make them have a wrestling match. Amuse me."
    Me & my brother just stared at it & then the letters spelled out "I'll kick your ass!" Me & my brother laughed & my bro said "Who's gonna kick my ass?"
    The letters Spelled "HBK" ("Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels for those who don't know much about wrestling). Then me & my brother laughed our asses off at the idea of Shawn Michaels coming to kick his ass.

    		 I did it with my siblings and my cousin. Her mother had had one locked up in the coat closet for years, so it was a cool vintage one. Anyway, her mom told us to have at it because she, evidently, never used it.

    So we go into my cousin's room, and for those of you who've used the board, you know you have to dim the lights and say these strange chants and whatnot. My aunt started getting nosy and peeking in on us, which was kind of embarassing. Anyway, we started using the board, and yes, it moved. It was creepy, but SO cool. After that, my aunt, who had been spying on us (go figure) freaked out and pulled my cousin (and the oujia board) away, saying things like "That's enough" and "I don't want you guys getting her into that kind of thing". I was like, "Whaaa? YOU gave it to US!" She's incredibly overprotective....

    In any case, I haven't used one since.

    		 I wouldn't touch a ouija board with a ten foot pole. One of my friends was telling me once that his friend had one who was constantly using it, and weird and bad things had been happening around his house ever since he started using it. My friend finally went over there and talked him into getting rid of the board. So they threw it into a fireplace and burnt it. My friend said as it was burning in the fire...they heard a loud, horrifying scream which seemed to come from the board. Yeah, I know that's really hard for anyone to believe...but my friend has always been a very honest and down to earth person, and I don't believe he would just make something up like that. He was dead serious when he was talking about it...you could tell he had experienced something very disturbing.

    		 i believe that the old wood ones might actually work, but i don't think the new ones do anything, it's glow in the dark and made by Mattel for crying out loud.

    back in jr. high, though, we used to do Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board, boy, was that creepy!

    		 I guess my parents had one before I was born and my mom said that it was pure evil in it. So she broke it up burned it and burried it.
    Then my friends use to use one, I dont know we were young and maybe it worked maybe it didnt I cant remember.

    		 I never owned one, but it was really popular back when I was in middle school, and everyone had their stories about what happened when you used it. All that said, I'd play it, but I wouldn't do it in my house...just in case! LOL
