Deleted 7 years 10 days ago Posts: 54340	Talespin and Ducktales... those are great shows... i was pissed when they took them off of toon disney and put Jetix on. I couldn't belive that there wasn't a Talespin file on Retrojunk, so I submitted the show. Anyone Remember Talespin? : And what are your other favorite old disney shows?

Actually, TaleSpin and Darkwing Duck are coming to DVD towards the end of the summer. Rescue Rangers, Ducktakes, and Goof Troop have been out for a while, but I'm sure you all knew that, already.

After a while, they kinda got lame in my opinion (starting with Goof Troop). Everything from the animation to the stories was excellent. I hope they will put the Gummi Bears and the Wuzzles on DVD, along with finishing out the DuckTales, Rescue Rangers, and TaleSpin series.

The plots were good, the characters were awesome(Kit Cloudkicker would have to be the best new character) but wasn't dinosaurs made by Jim Henson? If only they still made them instead of the junk on disney today. Darn you Michael Eisner! At least they have Schoolhouse rock before a movie sometimes...

I remember coming home everyday and tuning into great shows such as.....DuckTales (my personal fav), Gummi Bears, Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck, Goof Troop, Bonkers, Gargoyles etc. These shows (especially DuckTales, Gummi Bears, CDRR, TaleSpin and Darkwing Duck) have what most cartoons nowadays lack, an unique storytelling style and great animation. I never saw such great animation. The Disney Channel used to be great and show these shows on a daily basis before all of this "Zoog" junk came along. Nowadays, Disney sucks ass because all they care about is money. Look at the Disney Channel now. No Mickey, Donald, Goofy shorts, no Disney Afternoon, no DTV, no MMC, no good shows at all. Nothing but teen crap. I hate Lizzie McGuire, Kim Possible, That's So Raven and all of this teen mess. This is ridiculous. And look at the Disney Cartoons now (Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, Buzz on Maggie etc), they are cheap looking compared to DuckTales, TaleSpin etc. They look like something Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network would do. Disney 2006=sellouts. And Toon Disney sucks ass now too. All they show is the same 15-18 shows all week long. 6 times a day, 24/7. JETIX ruined Toon Disney and "Zoog" Disney ruined the Disney Channel. At least Disney is releasing their TDA shows on DVD and I'm happy that they are while Nick and Cartoon Network aren't. Oh well, end of rant.

santuel 7 years 2 days ago Posts: 999	They should rename Toon Disney to Jetix, I seriously only see Jetix on there anymore. I do miss Toon Disney. Hell, I REALLY miss Toon Disney, it was my favorite channel the instnat I got it. Now I never watch it and it makes me really sad.
