    Me? I have been on the news twice, a television show once(well just my head), and I met Regis in Belize City, Belize two years ago.

    		 I was an extra in a made-for-TV movie called 'Child Star: The Shirley Temple Story'. I got to meet Melissa Joan Hart, cos she was the producer, and her little sister was playing the teenage Shirley Temple.

    If you ever come across a repeat of it on cable, I'm in the prom scene, standing at the snack table drinking a cup of punch. :D

    		 Heh, I never thought to look myself up on IMDB.

    That's not me, though, unfortunately. :(

    I don't think they even took my name down. I was just one of dozens of kids that they brought in from various acting/drama classes.

    		 Wow, those are hard to follow. They are for me anyway.

    I've been shown on television as an audience member on America's Funniest People, and Monday Night Live (an L.A. area sports talk show that airs after Monday Night Football). That's about all the television time I've taken up so far. Kind of pathetic, I know, but no one else has been replying.

    Every time I visit RetroJunkit seems to change. Just glad the people dont.

    		 Ive been on the local news and the newspaper.

    THe News: In the background for a report on child safety at pools, I was a lifeguard in the background pretending to look at the water (although it was empty) at the pool I worked at.

    2nd time: I was down in school and they interviewed me about why teens feel the need to drink...lol

    Newspaper: Random Prom pictures and I happened to make the front page.

    Oh yeah almost forgot...Im on an instructional website on how to perform a backboard for a possible spinal injury. Last time I checked it was on Ellis website for lifeguard....Main reason I was used was for diversity...I'm a Black female, I was more than they could ask for...LOL

    		 I guess my .05 seconds of fame came in 94 when me and a buddy of mine met Cindi Lauper in the french quarter. They were filming a video and she just came walking out and we were like hello (casual hello not screaming and OMYGODITISCINDILAUPER) and we chatted for a bit when she asked if we wanted to come in and watch them film her video. We were like sure and watched it. Before we left we had to sign waivers in case our images were seen. I got a letter when the video was premering on Mtv and watched it. Unfortunately the camera pans so quickly you cannot see us.

    The song is from her album "Hat full of Stars"


    I also met John Cusack a couple of years ago when they were filming Runaway Jury. A friend and I were outside while they were filming the scene in the church. It was about 8:30 at night and they has celluloid over the windows with spotlights to simulate daylight..

    Aaaah the magic of Hollywood.

    		 I was on tv in 1995 when my 6th grade class went to a taping of that kids' game show Wild Animal games. Our class was supposet to see our selves on tv, but nobody for my class remembered to tape the episode we were on so we never saw it. And we met the host Ryan Seacrest and he was a jerk he was mean to my friends and me.

    Like 3 months ago I was on tv again because I went to a John Cena appearance and it was on a WWE program. It was just a shot of all the people waiting in line to meet him. I got to meet Cena to for like 10 seconds, but he was really sweet. :wink:

    highquality you were in the audience of Monday Night Live? My cousin was in the audience for that show too. I think his high school sports team went to it. The old show when they use to tape it at the studio instead of taping it at the ESPN bar.

    		 Lucky. I ALWAYS wanted to be on a kids' gameshow, but all of the Australian ones are filmed in Sydney, so they only take kids from schools around that area.

    		 My 15 seconds of fame came as a result of working venue security last year.

    The first 5 seconds. The local news was filming him coming into our venue where I worked security for incoming performers last year. My boss and I were excorting Rick into the stage doors when they got us on tape. I am caught keeping wild 30-something women off Mr. Springfield. It was outstanding.

    My next five seconds came a month or two later Big and Rich came into town and we had to tell camera crews to get off the property.

    The final five seconds of fame had to be when Wierd Al Yankovic came into my door with his own video camera. I'm on there saying... "ummmm I don't think we're allowed to bring those on property."

    That was the closest I was to feeling important with cameras and celebrities around. :)

    I was also in the crowd during a Jerry Springer filming in 1998, but that is not fame, that is infamy.

    		 Oddly enough, these are all Canadian encounters:

    I went to a taping of Jonovision and Jono stands beside me most of the show (I was I think 13 or 14 at the time). You can see me on TV, I'm chewing gum.

    I met Mr. Dressup at the CBC open house...TWICE! My parents both worked there and employees were "encouraged" to be volunteer crew. Since I'm an only child I was dragged along. This was an annual thing. What I remember most vividly was the one time when he was standing beside the tickle trunk. Inside it was hats that said CBC Television and he signed one for me. I asked him about the puppets and things. He asked me about school and then him and my mom chatted for a bit. Interestingly enough, I still have that hat, I came across it a few weeks ago when I was cleaning out my basement.

    Another CBC encouter I had was when I was about 10. I was going up the elevator to the 9th floor where my dad worked. On the 6th floor, this man dressed in somewhat grubby clothes gets on. It was none other than David Suzuki.

    Dr. Zed from OwlTV came to my school and gave us a science lesson when I was in grade 7.

    George Chivalo came to my school in grade 8 and talked about suicide. After we got to talk to him about boxing.

    		 I, um, appeared on the front of a local newspaper sitting in a fire engine. I forget why. I got quite a few mentions on UK radio station Hallam FM due to using the station's message boards on a regular basis. Back then, I was known as The Stargoose, for some reason. Hell, I do a lot of things and forget why. I've never really been plunged into 15 minutes of fame, though. And if it ever DOES happen, the apocalypse can't be too far behind.
