Need help, name of TV show.....

Deleted 8 years 5 months ago Posts: 54340	If anyone could help me with this I will be greatly appreciative (and surprised, as I have posted on 3 other forums and gotten no answer). It was a show, or miniseries maybe, that most likely came on Nickelodeon or HBO in the early 80's. All I remember from it is a girl (all live action) and an adult male, who is a magician. At one point the song "Do You Believe in Magic" comes on. There are also monsters under her bed or through her mirrors, and I think all of the craziness ensues only when her parents are out of the room. In other words, it is imaginative. Any help would be so awesome. Thanks.

Deleted 8 years 5 months ago Posts: 54340	before howie mandel was ever mentioned he had been considered.... it might have been him, and if not it was an actor who looked like him. it pre-dates my memory bank, which would lead to me to believe it was @85-87, +- 2 yrs. the thing that sucks is the fact that i can't even remember if it was a series or movie. i just remember the concept was about magic and fantasy-land, between the girl and the magician. the parent(s) were unaware of the situations, as far as i can remember. oh well, thank you very much for the help.
