Ia gree with the power rangers. Every time they got hit, it was giant sparks and shit. They ahd the worst choreography too. The newer ones were even worse than the originals. Was it true the action sequenses were japanese, not even the live action characters? curious.....

I remember hearing somewhere that the action scenes were from a previous Japanese show. Thats why you never actually saw the American actors and the bad guys on screen at the same time.

Every already knows about godzilla's movies when you see zipers on most costumes, or mortal combat movies with the worst graphics ever. But none of them compare to ther horror movie of jack frost chillin and killin (i dont think thats the title) and its sequel if you seen these movies you'll know what i'm talking about. its easy to discribe if ou wathed the movies.

Power Rangers had the worst special effects. Also those Sid & Marty Kroft shows had some of the cheesiest and lame special effects (though for the time I'm sure they were considered cutting edge lol). Still gotta love those shows though :)

Yes, in the original 'Might Morphin Power Rangers' series shown in the US, the action sequences were filmed in Japan for their version of the show.

Land of the Lost. This show was pretty ugly but I still watched it from time to time. They had a freind monkey/ape/person friend. he was an ugly little monkey boy. but the special effects for the dinosaurs was stop motion clay mation, and it was horrible.

I thought VR troopers was even worse than power rangers. Virtual Reality fighting, with enemies that look identical to power ranger enemies.

Agreed to the Sid & Marty Kroft Supershow.

      Dr. Shrinker
      Land of the Lost
      Wonderbug

Krofts had another one too. Bob Denver(Gilligan, who coincidentally just passed) played a goofy Gilligan type character, and they had an actor that acted just like the Skipper. He hit Denver with his hat and everything. They were astronauts out in space.

    Howzabout Isis and Shazam?

Here's an old one:All the old Marvel cartoon shows from the late '60's?

      Spider-Man
      The Sub-Mariner
      Iron Man
      Thor
      The Incredible Hulk
      Captain America

I think that was all of them.

The little monkey friend was Chahka, pronounced Choka. The enemies were the Sleestacks. I can't remember what that damn t-rex's name was they always had to hide from in the cave.

Speaking of the OLD Godzilla movies. There were 2 tv series imported from Japan. One was called Ultra Man. The premise of that one was a special forces, save the world from giant monsters type team. One of their members was somehow given this tubular thing from a dying alien I think. I believe the team members name was Hiyata. The tubular cylinder was called the "Beta Capsule". When the giant , Godzilla movies type monsters were on their rampage, Hiyata would disappear from the rest of the team around back of a building or something and raise the "Beta Capsule" and scream "HIYATA"!

He turned into a giant silver superhero with curled genie type shoes, and was a master at fighting. He crossed one hand over the other and a deathray would shoot from his hands. He had this light on his chest, and when it would start blinking it meant he was losing his power and getting very weak. I can't remember what caused it to blink and what his weakness was.

The other show was called Jonny Socko and the Giant Robot. There was another save the World team who traveled around in this giant flying robot who had missiles, lasers, bombs, etc., and the giant robot would fight giant monsters. It was like a transformer or something I guess. There was some kid who had something important to do with controlling the robot, but I can't remember exactly what the deal was with that.

The old Hercules movies starring Lu Ferrigno made the special effects in Godzilla look like the specilal effects in Lord of the Rings.

Not as bad as "Megaforce". Watch for the scene with the flying cycle. The bluescreen was so dang awful that you'd think Barry "Asshole" Bostwick had his own aura around him.
