    In an interview with john lennon after that incedent he siad he ment that the beatles were bigger then jesus to most of the kids in liverpool at the time, Which they were.
    My dad grew up in widnes which is in between liverpool and manchester, so my dad (From a big catholic house hold) loved the beatles more then jesus at that time aswell.

    Also another interesting thing some of you might find bullshit, but it is true.
    My uncle was an aprentace baker for ringo stars parents and met ringo a few times before he was famous :wink:

    And for the record, as i siad my dad is from a big catholic family which consisted of 11 kids, all of whom are older then my dad who is 56ish.
    My uncle is 70ish and my grandparents (if alive) would be in there early hundreds.

    Just thought i might tell you all that little ditty :wink:

    She is a one leged whore who diserves a good kicken, not that i approve of vialence against women but she is by far the biggest gold diggin slut ive ever seen and pau doesnt deserve to go through this shit that she has caused him :x

    		 An incredible Beatles bounty today at the Value Village,

    I got original mono vinyl copies of Rubber Soul, Sgt. Pepper's and Magical Mystery Tour in playable (I'd peg them all at about G or VG-) condition for only 2.99 each.

    The only thing that would have been cooler Beatles wise would have been Yesterday and Today with one of the paste-overs hiding a butcher photo worth thousands or an original White Album.

    I wonder if an original early Zappa or Who album will show up one day, stranger things have happend. I have made some great finds in the past like a German copy of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here, the rare first version of the Stones' Hot Rocks comp with alternate takes of some songs, the second King Crimson album which I have never seen a copy of on vinyl before or since I got mine at Value Village.

    In conclusion, Value Village rules.

    		 Sorta O/T: I have a cab driver who really hates all music made between the mid-50s and the early 90s. He's stated that he doesn't like The Beatles or The Stones or Bob Dylan or dozens of other singers and groups. To him, the only worthwhile music is blues music and alternative rock (preferably from the 90s), with the occasional Led Zeppelin or Joan Jett here or there. He says that his musical tastes go from A to Z. Bullshit.

    His music taste sucks. I don't want to listen to Pearl Jam or Little Big Walter Melon when I'm being driven to work, and I've even offered to double his tip if he'll switch to WHUD (a New York radio station I like that plays soft rock, pop, R&B and the occasional country and dance tune). He always turns me down in a snide and pretentious manner.

    Really annoying.

    		 Agreed Stevo. The best mix of it is on the John Lennon Imagine soundtrack and the cd version of '67 - '70. The intro is clean (no bleed thru of Sgt. Pepper reprise's ending) and the last chord lasts for ages.

    		 Yea, I got the '67 - '70 CD. Everything they did from '65 - '70 was genius. They were the greatest band ever. They went from pop/teen music to become the most influential band ever. I wonder if we will ever see something like that again? Who knows one of these newer popular bands could change music. I don't think it will happen but i remain optimistic. Something has to give because rock music has become stale again and any good bands like My Chemical Romance,who are talented, are just ripping off Queen and other progressive rock bands from the 70's and 80's.
