takineko 7 years 1 month ago Posts: 8682	well, I made a very short animation of Pinky saying Narf! And I asked my friend to turn it into a GIF cause I can't. And he made the frame rate WAY TOO FAST. So here is pinky tarding out on loop for you I decided to post the actual animation here, since the GIF is all Tardy. Kray 7 years 27 days ago Posts: 2557	Haha yes, animation. ^_^ If you could get a voice clip to do this to ("Narf" being a good idea for Pinky) then you could make his movements more readable. Yeah the average frame rate of american cartoons is 30 frames per second, so 9 is a little too short. You'll have to do way more than that for even the average speeds. It'd probably be best to start at 20 or 24 instead of 30. 30's a lot of work to animate with, especially for just messing around. Still a cool idea and not a bad start. Keep at this if you're into it, we need all the animators we can get who enjoy 2D animation.
