Remember waking up on X-mas morning and opening all of your kick ass toys. That is what I miss most about my childhood, all of the awsome toys. My favorite toys were Battle Beasts, Mr.T Action figure, and Bogglins(remember Boglins?)

But my favorite X-mas toy has got to be the G.I.Joe Transportable Tactical Battle Platform.

I was a girly girl. Barbies were my favorite. I hoped to get a Barbie dreamhouse..buuut that never happened! I also liked a lot of boardgames like Monopoly,Parcheesi, Girl Talk, and Clue. I remember pretending to sleep and at 12 midnight on the dot I would start tearing open presents

Actually, with all the re-hashed 80's toys out there now, kids today don't have it that bad.

-Incredible Crash Dummies Crash Test Center
-Sega Genesis w/Sonic 2 and Aladdin

Those were the two big ones. I wanted the Crash Test Center so badly and was I ecstatic when I unwrapped it, while the Genesis was a complete surprise. I had been wanting a console, but had no idea I would be getting one.

For a while, it was nothing but Star Wars toys, then came computer games/hardware and Transformers. Occasionally, science toys from Spencer Gifts would fall into the mix. I still have my huge plasma ball I received in '86.

Favroite christmas present was...My sega game gear when I was 12. I stunk at sonic. But I love the one that was a gemstone version of tetris, now that I could play for a long time. A few months after I got the sega game gear, we had a French exchange student stay with us, I could only get to the second level from the end of sonic. Well he plays it for a day, and guess what? He beats it. Oh he was so smug about it too. He said "oh look I never play before, I suppose I am good". I dont want to leave you guys with a bad impression of him, because he was a really awesome person. And such a polite house guest.

I don't know why...but I remember being SO thrilled with my Rock Tumbler. I loved that darn thing. And I don't think I ever got through the entire process of turning pebbles into gems. It was loud and you had to run it for weeks on end with this grainy stuff that would leave a mess.

    But I still loved it.
