Double post ahoy! [I did think about just editing the last one, but Im curious how many of u remember this toon] 
This is the star of the animated miniseries "Invasion America" which I was obsessed with when I was in 6th grade. I hadn't seen it in so long, and I'd forgotten its name, until I found it on YouTube. [cool points to the user CoolMod1] It had inspired me back then to spend rediculous amounts of time writting a novel. I don't remember too many things about the novel except that it was similar to Invasion America, and I couldn't finish it because I had made the obstacles just way too hard for me to figure a way out of! Plus I never finish anything anyway.
Believe it or not, David is actually more attractive than this, I felt like drawing his hair blowing in the wind, which doesn't look as great as it does just normally [kind of like my character Sekushi's hair]
I had a hard time trying to figure out how to make his glove look glowy without it sucking.. I don't know that I actually acompolished that :/
So as it turns out Speilberg was behind this show. Is that man just amazing at toons are what? [not to mention movies, der]
Anyway if you just want a short version of the plot I'll run it down for you--[I've only seen up to episode 5 on youtube and I don't remember what happens in the show cause alot was going on back then and I missed episodes]. There are these aliens who need a new place to live and they study earth for a while [they look esentially like humans but a little weird, so they walk amung us and hold some high positions even]. They discover they have something of a challenge as the Americans' who have the most sway, also have enough fire power to kill the aliens if they wanted. The ruler of the aliens wants to try to approach them friendly like and see if they'll let the group stay, but there is mutany afoot when this one guy who thinks he's a better leader anyway-- and a good deal of his followers-- decide they need to invade America instead and wipe the humans out before they know what's what. During a big scuffle the ruler winds up getting injured and stays on earth with his right hand man. He is saved from some manglers [manglers are an alien dinosaur like.. four legged thing that the aliens keep around to help fight their battles and stuff i guess] by an earth woman. So he and his right hand man stick around, he has a kid with the woman and then has to leave to try to fight off the invasion elsewhere. His son grows up [thats david if you havn't figured it out] under the watchful eye of the nearby sheriff [his father's right hand man] and suddenly the government finds some mangler bones and evidance that would lead them to David's mom. Some of the government and miliatary officials are aliens and so the show takes off from there. David is taught about his alien heratage from the sheriff and given the glove in the picture, only people in his bloodline can wear it, it has certain powers too! Now that I've went on and on, thats just the begining, I hope this thing comes to DVD.. and I hope you will be interested in watching it if you havn't seen it! ;p

I used to have a character w/ lightning powers [though Taki is a water element ;p]
