I'm becoming a new fan of The Hobbit. After I read the book, I'm planning on watching the movie. So who else likes it
90's shows and movies are awesome

I've read just about everything Tolkien yet haven't seen The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Sometimes I hold back with movies based on books/literature. I'm a purist ass hole in that sense.

A great copy of the book if you can find it, is the hardcover annotated version. I've read it maybe 5 times. I'm in the minority, but I loved the movie too. Just seeing Middle Earth on screen again is exciting.

I really liked watching The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. I remember watching bits and pieces of the animated version as a kid although I never got to see the whole thing.
